Chromecast Audio is a great Google accessory for playing your existing music library through your hifi system or through a portable speaker with no wifi capability.

Chromecast audio connects to anything with a physical jack - headphone or RCA, making every non-wireless product suddenly a candidate for streaming. Brilliant. And the wifi connection couldn't be easier to put in place. It streams at high quality, so I can pull uncompressed FLAC from another network device and it sounds terrific. Think of every product ever made that does not have any wireless connectivity, and now it does.

I listen to a lot of internet radio, but I didn't have any way to listen to it through the old stereo system in my bedroom. This was just the ticket. I swapped out the connector cord that comes with the device for one with red & white RCA plugs on one end, plugged it in to one of the unused sets on the back of my receiver, downloaded the app, and away we went. Set up was easy and it works well. All for $30 (I got it on sale).

works good, easy to find on Google - Chromecast app. sound is very good. use it with most of the audio applications.

Since Sonos still doesn't support Google Home integration, this is the next big thing. Plug this into your Sonos speaker and now you can voice control it. Perfect.

I have two of them in my house and partner with the Google Home or Mini, it makes your old audio equipment like new with all the fun parts of having it work with Google Assistant. Highly recommended for someone with high-end speakers that are older but want the ability to stream music to them. Plus the device has the ability to tailor it's sound for those high-end speakers with or without an amp.

Great for Non-Bluetooth Audio Systems, easily gives your audio setup a cordless connection.

Syncs perfectly across multiple cc-audio's. Occasionally have some trouble adjusting the volume but I think that's because of a particular speaker. Not the chromecast. I will definitely be buying more.

Had no idea about this until I was in the store. I wanted a Bluetooth speaker you can link w/ other speakers, Bluetooth speakers have limited sound and few can link w/ another speaker. This purchase allowed me to link multiple speakers and creating a Google home account gave much better sound quality for my Pandora account. The only down side is having to purchase one for each speaker you want to connect.

Great product by google. Audio quality is better than bluetooth and it cast audio from anywhere in the house.

This little device a truly affordable way to create a multiroom speaker system. I have a few of these devices and they are a great way to fill my home with music.

Love that I don't have to pair my phone to my speaker in the house anymore to stream music and then have a dead phone. This is perfect and I haven't had any streaming problems.

The Chromecast makes it easy to get audio to your speaker system through the WiFi. The only downside is that it doesn't allow sound to go through all applications - only ones that work with ChromeCast.

This is much better than using Bluetooth to stream an audio connection. Clearer, less compression... just as good as a hard wired CD or DVD. The Cast feature works great and was automatically available on my music apps once it was introduced to my home wifi. For the price, it's worth it to try out. If you are hooking this up to a source with an HDMI input, I'd recommend getting the regular Chromecast.

So far I have been using the chromecast audio with Spotify, works great, you do need to have Wifi and internet access for it to work, won't just stream straight off your phone.

i have now purchased two of these products to use with speakers i have and the products have performed very well. A much less expensive option that many others available today

Was looking for an inexpensive way to stream music through my whole house audio system in a way that allowed me to change the source from my phone. Perfect solution with a simple audio jack to analog audio output adapter. $50 total with access to all of my music, Spotify, Pandora, etc. It’s not HD quality, but with decent speakers it’s pretty good sound. Just what i was looking for.

The concept and implementation of the Chromecast Audio is great. I have configured five of them throughout the house and now enjoy music and podcasts regardless where I go.
