It responds very well and does not require a certain distance to work and you can use several connected to transmit simultaneously

The Chromecast is easy to set up, very small, and very lightweight. It takes up hardly any space, and it can be tucked anywhere on your desk . It works well for desktop computer audio, but it does not have a high enough quality for an audiophile-level audio reproduction. For that, you'll need a more sophisticated DAC. Overall, it fulfills its purpose quite nicely.

I was looking at the sonos speakers as well as the Amp for my outdoor patios speakers. Sonos is way too expensive. I connected this to my Onkyo Amp and wallah! I had music playing outside on my patio while I controlled it from my smartphone anywhere on the property. I used to use a bluetooth receiver but was limited to how far away I could go. Very happy.

I just put several around my house to replace my 12 speaker Nuvo system and it works great! This also enables you to use much better quality audio components for whole house audio (and much cheaper) than relying on the expensive Sonos offerings. I was also able to convert an car older stereo and amp to receive audio from my phone or tablet!

I bought two of these so I could play the same audio upstairs and downstairs on my two older systems which works great! I bought the optical cable for my main system and enabled the HDR setting and the sound is fantastic. I normally just play pandora but it works great for enabling my system without any internet connectivity to have some new sources to play.

Does what it's supposed to! I hooked it up to get my home stereo synced up to my google home. I yell at the kitchen to play the B52s in the living room and in seconds, Planet Claire is coming out of my stereo. Great combo with google home if you want to have voice control but listen on real speakers.

This device is pretty amazing! It only does one thing, but it does it really well! I have it connected to a pair of speakers in my bathroom and use it every morning to play music while I shower and get ready for work. I love the fact that you can make groups to have several of these play in sync throughout the house. Would highly recommend this product.

Love the idea behind this. I have since bought 2 of them. Love the grouping feature and also how it works with my google home!!

I found it to be a good way to send music or podcasts from my phone to a home stereo system. I like it over Bluetooth because I don't have to worry about the range.

I really like our Chromecast Audio - it lets you use SO many music apps right from the comfort of your phone. I have mine hooked up to our living room receiver, but may get another one for the kitchen and/or garage. Audio quality (over wifi) is very good, better than compressed bluetooth. I would recommend and buy again, even though I think the $35 price is just a tad salty.

After setup with the google home app. It works awesome. Simply connect to wifi and you can even goto google home app n select mirror audio. Then anything playing on yer phone can play through yer stereo and even google home speakers all at the same time and in sync with each other. Im suprised more people dont know about this. !

I bought 2 of these. Sound quality is excellent. It's easy set up.

Works great, audio is OK, set up is easy and works as advertice

Most people will buy this device to access music to wireless speakers but I found that with a mini plug to RCA stereo split connection, I can actually output from auxilliary outputs in my ancient tower stereo and send the information to my wireless speakers. That means my turntabe now has access to my wireless speakers. For $35, that's an addordable addition to the music in my home.

Does as expected. Works great, but only cast from apps that are cast capable, not all audio. Fix the cast issue and I will give the fifth star.

No issues hooking it up and connecting to WiFi network. Easy to send audio from chromebook or phone to it. Nice to take any random speakers and hook it up anywhere for music. Only downside is the need for additional power since now it requires 2 (one for speakers and one for chromecast) outlets to get music.

I have two Chromecast Audios running in my home, one for my Sony A/V receiver and one for my Heos speaker on my back deck. I have setup a group through my Google Home that links both of them and they play the same songs from Pandora simultaneously inside and outside. Easy setup and convenience all in one low-cost product. Great work Google!

Easy to set up and the results are astounding. Wish I purchased sooner.

This item was for my surround sound that I have at my house. It works great but the only thing I dislike was that I couldn't play my iTunes music through it.
