The Chromecast Audio is a cost effective way to stream audio to existing equipment. I have one for a headphone amp and another for a stereo. They sound great and with Plex you can stream your mp3 library easily.

The chromecast audio does what it says it does. One star docked for lack of gapless playback.

Good: Price point is perfect; cast from Spotify on my phone; continues to play even when I leave the room or house; multi-room controls. Bad: No queue for multiple users in the room (so no collaborative party mode); sometimes I have a hard time disconnecting from the cast.

I used this to replace a dated whole house audio system. Instead of having wall controls in every room, I purchased a multi-zone amplifier and connected 5 of these to it so each room can have it's own audio source. Best device for $30!

This is actually my third Chromecast audio. So now I can rock out to music poolside, in the living room, and the master bedroom all in sync. I can't wait to get the Google Home so I can tell it to skip tracks and turn up without using my phone.

Google Chromecast's are awesome. I've got an Ultra & a 2nd Gen. The audio angle is amazing. With a simple click of the "cast" icon my Google Play Music & Pandora can follow me everywhere in my home on any speaker. Highly recommended!

If you are familiar with using Chromecast then you will understand how the Chromecast audio works. My husband loves this little gadget! Well worth the price. Good option for someone who isn't willing to make the jump to some of the higher priced bluetooth tech items.

The chromecast audio is nice, because an audio speaker with a 9mm jack can be controlled wirelessly. You can added it to your google home group, and play music from it and the google speaker at the same time.

Works great and is a fraction of the cost of other available alternatives.

Great way to connect a sound system that didn't come with Google's cast built in. I can send music from my phone, or my Google Home, to my favorite sound system without having the digital assistant speaking at max volume.

Works great to stream music from certain services (Google Play, Spotify) without having to pull from your phone's connection. Where this really shines is when you buy more than one and expand your surround sound setup with any speakers you've got laying around.

Superb product ! Considering Sonos end up with this for my HI-End receiver, Bose wave and my terrace sound system and I can assure you you can feel the strong quality audio compared with Bluetooth connections. A+

Easy to set up and use. I sometimes lose the signal though which may or may not be the fault of the Chrome Audio device. The sound with Spotify set to the highest resolution is ok but not as good as a standard CD. If there's a Tidal app I might try that in the future.

This is great for anyone that has a dated music system at home that doesn't support new age streaming. This will allow you to transform an old stereo into a new streaming unit, thus saving the cost of newer wifi speakers and players.

Excellent product for streaming music thru multiple systems.

Hooked it up to my receiver and use Google Play music to stream high quality music on my Klpish speakers. The quality is great. Only complaint is sometimes the chromecast and the phone lose connection.
