Great product. Being cordless makes it awesome . Can't live without it.

I now have these attached to a few amps around the house for music everywhere. In addition to being easy to use and set up, Google also periodically gives discounts on Google services for Chromecast owners.

great item, I needed it for may devices that don't come with bluetooth.

Just added another TV in the house and had to get a new chromecast for it. I cut the cable cord over 3 years ago and chromecasts are attached to all my TV and are a must. Super easy to use and nice upgrade from the previous model.

Using both of these to provide streaming to my old school Acoustic Reesearch powered speakers and Cambridge Sound works Model 12 Sub and speakers. Why get a soundbar when you can use what's on hand and appreciate them in a new light?

he new Chromecast Audio device looks nearly identical to the new disc-shaped Chromecast, except instead of HDMI, there's a standard 3.5mm audio port that plugs directly into the back of a speaker or receiver. It also supports RCA or optical audio outputs. The result is a $35 solution for turning old-school high-fidelity speakers, so-so Bluetooth speakers, or just plain old "dumb" speakers into ones that stream music over Wi-Fi. Users can (finally!) cast music from Spotify, Google's own Play Music app, or Pandora — basically any app that will support casting. As rumored, Chromecast Audio will support multi-room audio streaming, eventually, but not until sometime later this year.

Chromecast Audio device is cool, It eliminates the need of bluetooth.

This item works absolutely great when connecting to WiFi.

I recently purchased some google assistant speakers for my house but realized I had nothing for my surround sound. Added this lil guy, now I have audio all over my house controlled from one app. I love it

So easy to wirelessly connect your phone or tablet music/streaming to your amp or wireless speakers. The only issue I have had a few times is after it's been connected and then disconnected, it's sometimes hard to get it to reconnect via Casting. .

When I bought Chromecast Audio I thought that it will be very bad in sound quality, and that not is true. The only thing that I do not like is that when I see videos in chrome browser, the audio is delay by 1 or 2 seconds. Nevertheless, it is worthy for $35.

Good for its purpose of streaming audio. And can't beat it for the price.

Does not quite handle everything but if you're working with an older receiver I highly recommend one. Streams at 44.1 at its best in my experience. Supports Tidal, Deezer, and Spotify Premium for me.

Very useful to streaming high quality music through analog speakers

I have multiple sonos speakers and I was happy to try the CCA. The sonos system is great but the CCA is a good alternative. Now, I can connect my sonos speakers with my non-sonos speakers. I am extremely happy with the purchase.
