I got this to add to an existing external speaker, and it is perfectly fine. I would be much happier if the audio quality has higher, however it is definitely passable. I think that at $20 this is a must buy, but at $35 it is much harder to recommend.

I can't believe Google discontinued these.. these were so helpful and such awesome little devices. I'm so happy I purchased 5 when I did. I'd recommend in a heartbeat if Google brought them back.

Works with Pandora, Google music and other DLNA capable music app. Only gripe I have is you have to be premium member of Spotify to work that's why I only give it 4 stars. Also, if you have WMA music file in your phone, it wont play in Chromecast audio.

I use this on my older stereo in my shop. Saves me from having to plug in my phone to listen to music. I can also keep my phone on person . I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to stream music to non Bluetooth stereo.

Google stuff can usually be relied on to work well. this product was no exception.

I had an existing non-bluetooth speaker dock and was temped to pick up a Bluetooth speaker for Mother's Day. I snagged one of these instead and saved myself ~$150 and it works flawlessly with my wife's Samsung phone and tablet.

Difficult to set up. Must use home network. Not as useful I had hoped.

I’ve grown to love google products. These chrome cast audios ar one of the best add ones to my home. I can tell google to play music in any room and music just starts playing. Hands free has never been easier.

I have an older model Bose dock that doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities (don't think it was a thing when I bought it) so this works perfect to turn them into a wireless speaker. It does NOT use Bluetooth but works over WiFi.

Totally jams the tunes out to old stuff that isn't bluetootified.

Bought three of these to play music in different areas of my home. Works great, easy to set up and use with google home app. Only wish more music apps have casting capabilities, but works great with ones that do.

I occasionally have to reconnect to one of audios but for $30 these are very slick. I love being able to connect to multiple Chromecasts throughout the house and replicate Sonos functionality without the Sonos price

It just works ... Great way to get whole house surround sound without the cost of Sonos, Bose, or any of the other high end speakers. Plus I already had multiple speakers with a spare Aux Input, so it just made sense!
