Much better than bluetooth in sound quality in terms of loudness ana pure clarity. If you do not have SONOS, this is way to go. For me, mainly AIRPLAY or SONOS and CHROMCAST AUDIO. Sedomly use bluetooth.

For the cheap price to make any self-powered speaker wireless, why wouldn't you buy this? Can't see spending the money for Sonos (unless you really must have the best) when you can do the same for so much less.

I had some issues but it was more app related but still it should all work all the time, after updating it worked well afterwards. sounds great but would of loved a spdif but I guess this works still since a lot of content is compressed.

Honestly, this is the greatest device for incorporating your existing audio equipment to sync throughout your whole house. So easy to set up and use with other google connected devices.

I really, really love this. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued. I have multiple Google Home speakers around my house, and with this connected to my home theater I'm able to synchronize and play music all throughout my house. The big subwoofer in the center of the house makes up for the lackluster base from the Google Home speakers, and I have one Google Home Max at the other end of the house. Hopefully Google makes something like it again soon.

Great quality audio over wifi but setting up AudioCast on my iphone and ipad was a bit challenging. It only worked when I updated my iOS to latest version. Also does not appear to wake up the receiver so that has to be done manually.

Too bad they stopped making these beauties. They work great, still are supported by google and allow you to stream Spotify all over your house. Just plug in your favorite speakers.

Great small audio streaming device. Casting audio is the preferred method over Bluetooth connections due to higher bandwidth (as Bluetooth uses compression). Easy setup, very versatile.

It work fine as advertised. Super easy to set up. I hook it up to a receiver and bookshelf speaker, the sound quality is good enough that I cannot tell any difference whether the music is play from direct connection or through chromecast.

Works exactly as promised. You can literally make any speaker a part of your Google family and connect all speakers throughout your home. A must have if your speakers aren't chromecast ready

Straight to the point folks. Plugged it into my home theater with the fiber cord. Plays beautiful and consistent. Problems in streaming will be because of your router or music app of choice, not the device.

To me this was a much better investment over Sonos. I have Chromecast Audio in every room of my house. Always ready to play, no issues with playback or drop outs like I've experienced with Airplay speakers.

Using three of these in different rooms that already have audio solutions. Makes for a really inexpensive way to sync audio to all rooms. Definitely recommend!

I want a nice whole house music system but in the mean time I got 2 small speakers that I could hide and 2 of these since I wanted both speakers to play at the same time. Worked great. Just what I wanted.

Really good for whole home solution. If you already have speakers, and you don't want to buy a bunch of expensive Sonos systems, these things are it. They work especially well if you have a Google Home.
