The ability to turn my old 30-pin iphone docks back into functioning speakers is great. The ability to turn old speakers into a wireless speaker network for 35 bucks a pop is phenomenal.

Added this to Google Home so we can play what we want on it to any sound system in the house. Great for using multiple song list in different parts of the home. Will be adding 2 more soon

Have a couple.of these, one hooked.up to my stereo for casting music to the patio and one hooked.up to the TV. They hardly ever fail, so handy to cast.from various sources!

Earbuds and Bluetooth are fine, but you cannot beat a real HiFi stereo system, even if you use it for streaming music. This Chromecast Audio connected to a stereo (or 5.1) receiver is a great foundation for a modern music setup. I still use and enjoy CDs and vinyl records, but streaming music via one of the services compatible with Chromecast (I use Google Play Music) to a 2 channel stereo receiver via this Chromecast Audio is a beautiful and simple way to put your digital music "out there". Buy it, get you a Sony 2 channel stereo receiver paired with some Polk T50 tower speakers (when on sale at Best Buy), and crank it up. You will love what you hear.

I added this into my older reciever now I can stream music into the hone audio, also nice to be able to link multiple chromecast audio together for whole home audio.

Another excellent gadget produced by Google. It was so easy to setup and now I love streaming my music at home. The fact that family and guests can simply connect, too makes it even more fun.

Works as advertised. Works great with google Home. Get both, you won't regret it. No I don't work, own stock or am affiliated with google in any way, I just like products that just work.

Works great when casting from my phone and google home. Making a group with google home lets me cast the same music to all of my devices. Works surprisingly well and is easy to set up!

Took a minute to set up. Works great with google home. Volume output a bit low and need to get used to the volume level control with google home. But overall good device especially creating a home group.

I purchased this because my older sound bar does not have Bluetooth connectivity. Instead of buying a new sound bar that has Bluetooth, I purchased this device. I like the fact that I can be further away from the device compared to using Bluetooth. I also like that I don't have to have my tv turned on to use this device (as I do with the Chromecast, version 2). I do have a minor issue with this device. The 3.5 mm port that I connect this device to my sound bar is a bit flimsy. If you jiggle the 3.5 mm cable at the plugin port on this device, you will hear some scratchy noise through the speaker when the music is playing. Other than that, it works well and I can use my phone, tablet, or computer as its own remote control.

Was very skeptical about this product,once I got it hookup I could not be more happy I can listen to pandora or iheartradio.or a few others along with the music channels on my hdtv.#AWSOME

I really enjoy my Chromecast Audio device. It is doing exactly what I wanted--streaming music from my iPhone to a radio with an audio input port. Since the radio had no bluetooth, I needed this Google Chromecast Audio to facilitate wireless music transmission. You will need power and a 3.5mm audio input for the device to work. I also needed to download the Chromecast App to my iPhone. I have found there are times where the connection is dropped and I can't find the Chromecast Audio when using Pandora. That is usually solved by rebooting the Chromecast Audio. I wish I didn't have to do this, but connections can be inconsistent about 1-2 times a week. When it's working, it is just wonderful for listening to Pandora and Spotify!

The google line up for everything smart home is awesome. The chrome cast audio works flawlessly with all my other google minis, homes, and chromecast audio devices

The program is easy to set up and the system is simple to use. It is easier to use google chrome for most audio. Youtube is not an option with Apple or Sonos so beware of that drawback. Other than that its quality

I own Google chromecast. It was suggested to me to purchase chromecast audio. It is great! I use it to cast music from my Google Home device through my blu ray surround sound speakers.

Much better than the Bluetooth device I had. I got this after talking to the Google rep in store. Works better than expected. So easy my wife can use it. And she does multiple times a day.

This item was bought after I purchased my google home. I love it. It does just as advertised. I haven't had any problems with it yet. I would recommend this item to anyone.

Great product for old stereo receivers to give them Bluetooth, also the cheapest way to have witless audio for your entire house by linking of several of these around your house

Nice device to stream audio from all your Google devices to your speakers. Easy setup and support from Google. Integration into Google smart home is very easy and has IFTTT support.
