it works great i will recommended to all my friends

I got a cell phone that doesn't have a headphone jack and needed something to play my music through my living room stereo. This works perfectly. Easy set up, no problems so far.

I did not believe that this would work when I purchased it. I installed it in minutes. Then, unbelievable to me, it worked great. No problems. No hassles.

I paired this with a Raspberry PI media server and an iPad app to end up with a Sonos-style audio streaming solution for my 20 year old stereos. Great quality for a lot less money.

the only reason i bought this was to use in a home audio group with my google homes. for that purpose it works great, but if i wasn't trying to do that i'm not sure i would spend the money for it.

the only downside is that my bose bluetooth speaker now has to be in constant AUX mode, which if youre really close to the speaker, gives off an audible hum. not really the chromecasts fault, just part of the way it needs to be hooked up.

I bought this to replace a bluetooth dongle I used to stream music from a phone or tablet. Because it uses wifi, the sound is supposed to be richer. I guess it is but would like a way to verify it.

Have a good pair of speakers with an auxiliary or optical input? Then you can use them to stream music using this. Makes it easy to setup music around the house.

My 15 yr. old grandson wanted this for Christmas and he is very happy with it. To be honest, I don’t know much about it other than he is thrilled so I am too! Lol!

The Chromecast audio works just like Sonos minus the speaker. Just add a powered speaker you can broadcast music anywhere in your house. Will only get better with Google home.

Great piece of add-on for your TV to watch YouTube and other internet TV channels. With Google Chrome browser can even mirror your computer screen on your TV.

I had the older model and was helping a friend set up a home sound system and we used this for streaming music. It was easy to set-up and works great. Love the size improvement over the older model.

I bought it as an option to use foogle assistant with my sonyxb41 speaker.. It works great and I can create groups with other google assistant speakers

Why spend $100s on connected speakers when you can spend $100 or less on three Chromecast Audio devices and plug into your own equipment. Setup and quality are superb.

Very easy to set up. Directions never mentioned that i needed to go to play store and download a chromecast app. If you are not very tech savy might need help with setup

This device aside from being very economical ( 15 to 35 dollars, depending on ) is the best and most economical way to attain whole house audio. By attaching " self powered speakers " you may determine the level of fidelity you wish to attain or are able to afford. I have about 4000 sq/ft home and I am able to broadcast to all zones ( " Party Mode " ) or any number of zones I wish, including my Home Theater area and all seven speakers powered by my receiver. Best and most economical way to attain a " Sonos Like " features for a fraction of a price.

using it to share music with my outside stereo. very easy setup and control. Can listen to music outside and inside with google home unit at the same time. love it.

If used as intended, on home wifi, stream form common app sources, through a home audio aux input, IT'S GREAT. I unfortunately wanted more. I wanted to stream music from my smartphone's internal memory files, through my vehicle(s) AUX audio. This type of application requires 3rd party apps, finagling a mobile hotspot or just MORE. Conclusion: I understand that ALL tools are application based, and if used outside of their designed purpose there will always be risk of disappointment. Chromecast Audio is a Very Good Product.

I have trouble adjusting the volume (up or down) when I'm using my Audiocast dongle. I don't have this trouble with my Bluetooth or my Chromecast dongles. I didn't save my packaging, so I guess I can't send/take it back. I wasn't expecting any problems.
