If you need to make a speaker wireless this is a great solution. Plugged it in synced it up to my wife with my Ipad and works like a charm.

First one right out of the box didn't work, support trouble shot as best they could then just sent me back into the store for a new one.. got the second one home set up process was pretty straight forward and worked. After some use it's been a little finicky as it on occasion will just drop from the sight of my HK Omni's and google home..? A reboot by unpluging it or shutting off the app seems to do the trick a little annoying however. But for 35.00 it's a pretty handy device...m2c.

I recently purchased google home and bought this chromecast audio to connect to my Samsung sound bar to make playing music super convenient.

Needed to upgrade my audio system to be able to play and control my music wirelessly. With out spending much, this was the best way to go.

It's a little difficultt to get connected, but I have multiple networks at my house due to work so that could be the issue. Once connected the sound quality is great.

This device is tiny, simple, and easy to set up. It basically makes any pre-smart era speaker into a smart speaker. Love it.

Connected to my sound bar via supplied aux cable. Now my Google assistant can stream music to my sound bar with a voice command.

Chromecast audio is a inexpensive way to setup a wireless speaker for streaming music. easy setup, I plan on buying another one.

Way cheaper than buying Sonos. I can still use my perfectly fine speakers. Just cast from the music player app not the google home app.

nice to have ability to use old speakers as most of my old speakers are better than most bluetooth speakers. works when you need it too, easy set up

Good to pretty good sound quality. I use with Spotify Connect through My AVR. Sometimes takes a minute or two before I can connect my stereo from bootup.

This chromecast audio is wonderful for incorporating your current audio setup into your google home system. Easy to setup and group with other Google products!
