Great way to take an older stereo system and update it to Google control and wifi! Easy set up with the Google Home app.

We used this to be able to wirelessly stream music to our older, but still in great shape Bose system. Extremely easy to set up and use.

I pair these with cheap amps all over the house, the connect, they have good audio, what more do you need?

Works well for google stuff. I like the ability to get a couple of different ones of these and hook them up in different groups, letting you stream music to multiple stereos at once. What's very frustrating is that you can't just stream audio from your phone reliably. While you can stream phone audio using the google home app, it ends up getting broken up and sounding too laggy to be usable for music. As a result, I can't listen to my Prime music with this app (and of course Amazon has no interest in building chromecast into their app for competitive reasons).

I love these little guys! If you're running powered speakers to a turntable it's the cheapest and best solution to stream to them.

For the price it is a great buy. I am using it outside for my sound system. Perfect when hanging out or entertaining or just cooking out.

Bought this to play music on my outdoor speakers. Works better than my bluetooth receiver. Very easy to set up and use with Pandora!

I was looking for an economic alternative to a Sonos type set-up and this thing works great . I hooked it up to my stereo system and used the CD player input.I now can listen to Pandora on my outside speakers or thru my surround sound and control volume, stations, etc from my phone. I can make it into my backyard which is about 60 feet from the device before it fades in and out but my phone is not the greatest or I'm sure I could relocate device a little higher to get more signal. Heck of alot better than any BT device ive tried you get maybe 15 feet and it cancels out.

this Chromecast Audio is a very easily set up plug that allows quick connect and disconnect from various sources. Works great!

My wife wanted a set up to have music playing throughout the first floor of our house. I had an old receiver and speakers but I wasn't using. So I set them up discreetly throughout the house running the cables under the floor. I used this Google Chromecast audio to plug into the back of my receiver and connected it to Our Wi-Fi. Now we can stream audio from our iPhones throughout the entire house using the Google play app. There is a Google play manager you can install on your computer to mirror your iTunes library.
