I’ve been using this for a few weeks and it works well. I’ve tried it on several stereo systems and no problems yet.

Chromecast does exactly what it says it will. It is the easiest way to stream music without spending a lot of money.

My wife wanted a set up to have music playing throughout the first floor of our house. I had an old receiver and speakers but I wasn't using. So I set them up discreetly throughout the house running the cables under the floor. I used this Google Chromecast audio to plug into the back of my receiver and connected it to Our Wi-Fi. Now we can stream audio from our iPhones throughout the entire house using the Google play app. There is a Google play manager you can install on your computer to mirror your iTunes library.

Got this for my mom and she hooked it up to their intercom and works great with ios or android. Also plays audio from the chrome browser.

Use it with my computer speakers to set multi-room listening. Love the Chromecast, easy to set up and it offers great functionality.

I like the little gadget. I wish the range was longer, but I can't really complain because it is based on my WiFi. I need to invest in an outdoor antennae.

Awesome product. Turn an old set of laptop speakers into a remote stereo. Can do so much more than that too. Hard to beat at this price.

This does exactly what we wanted it to do, and it does it well!. We use it to stream Spotify to an integrated tube amp. Works perfectly!

A year ago, when this product was announced, the promotions all stated that casting from multiple sources (multicast) would be supported with this product "by the end of the year". The clock is ticking.....

I bought this item so I can utilize my Bose Soundtouch speaker with my Google Home speaker - works great! great price too

This enabled me to hook up my Bose speaker through my wifi and stream music. Much better quality than bluetooth.

Works great with my amplifier and built in speakers in my home. Easy to control from Google app. Much cheaper than sonos.

I really like this little device and it's capabilities. Luckily, I just purchased new receivers that have Chromecast Audio built in but while I was using my older receiver this thing helped so much. Multi-room audio is pretty nice to have and works great. I just wish it was slightly more user friendly to create groups, but I dont think any company has that really nailed down right now. That's my only small complaint though. Not sure what I'm going to plug it into next, but it'll be some good listening when I do.

I used for my PC and initially expected it would broadcast all the audio content to my speaker. But it can only broadcast select pages from Chrome browser. Might be useful for some people, but not for me.
