Used with Google home for music in several rooms. I bought several of these. Hooked them up to inexpensive computer speakers.

Because I bought a Google home mini I ordered this so that the music I play is in sync with my Sonos. I have to say it is really nice!!!

Chrome cast does everything it claims and produces a high-quality sound compared to Bluetooth. Reconnect is sometimes a problem when moving unit around

Love the audio quality of this Chromecast audio using Tidal HiFi music app on my phone to stream musics to my Denon receiver.

Purchased this so I can stream music from google home to my non bluetooth home stereo. I used an optical connection and sound is very good.

This is a flexible item with many options. It is not as sophisticated as Sonos, but it is a great alternative for little money.

Works like a charm. We wanted to play music from a speaker off of our kitchen. We can listen to music out on our deck outside.

Bought this to sync with my Google Home but it's more of a hassle right now having to turn on the blue tooth speaker and change the input before casting to the speaker. It works and when I cast it it works great, sound is great, but still more work than I want to go through. We are just as happy listening to music through the Google Home device. Perhaps the software will become more useful in the future, but for now it's not really being used.

Having the ability to link multiple speaker in the home is awesome. Unfortunately the Chromecast doesnt always link up and I have to reset multiple pucs to get whole house audio.

If you’re willing to learn it’s kinks, these are great. Casting music over WiFi preserves a much higher sound quality than Bluetooth and you don’t have to worry about walking too far away from the receiver. You can just plug these into your existing speakers around the house and even pair them together (my favorite part). The kinks are really just at start up. Sometimes there’s a delay or you have to restart the app you’re using to cast initially. Once it’s connected you’re usually good to go though.
