I do love my wifi speaker systems but they are expansive and very limited on what you can do. This is the solution for those of you with vintage audio. Hook one of these up and you can stream your music over wifi. These also support multiroom so you can place the same song on multiple systems or play a different track in every room. I have 3 of these so far. I use one on an old Yamaha shelf system and the other 2 on Bose Acoustic Wave systems. These are amazing!

My daughter absolutely loved the ability to plug into our older home speaker and stream directly from her cell phone.

It isn't okay piece of equipment to deliver streaming audio to fulfill basic needs. The audio quality is by no means at the audiophile level. So don't buy it if you are passionate about high quality sound. It is small and lightweight and it's was reasonably easy to set up, but there's nothing special about it. It is just another streaming device, another tool in your toolbox.

Bought this for our son and he loves it. He reports that it’s easy to setup and use and that it just works.

Chromecast Audio is a very easy way to stream audio from your computer or portable audio device. Very easy set-up!

I found this to be and unique device. Most time I've seen its you're hooking up two individual speakers or sound bars. I had an older amp with more inputs and outputs and cables and stuff. But when you haven't changed anything for a while and you don't know if you were doing it right I did get a little frustrated. It's actually it's me not the device. There's plenty of support online. Google's really behind this item. I don't know if this is a good review or not I like it

I connected it to my Sonos so I could use Google Home to play music on Sonos. The downside is I still need to switch the input first.

It's nice to be able to stream music to my older sound system. It was real easy to connect to my internet.

We are able to play music files and Pandora from our phones to our entertainment system with this. Set up was easy.

The Chromecast concept is excellent, but it is not supported by almost anything outside of google play music. If you can do this, it is great. It does not work with Windows 10 (i.e. you can't connect to it and use it with Windows media player), it does not work with Plex, and it does not work with Amazon music. So you are stuck with google play music -- not so bad, but still they lock you in. The concept of using wifi to stream music to multiple devices, is a brilliant one however -- far more logical than bluetooth.

Very useful for my audio receivers and other devices -- I converted all the old devices into connected players.

I cast pandora and other internet audio to this device and listen on my stereo system. Get big sound from streaming sources.

Good product, works as expected. Love to be able to put music on in any room (and all rooms for that matter lol).

Nice product to easily turn your old good speakers to wireless, would be good to have to easily cast everything from mobile to Cast.

This product works well if you plan to use an App on your phone or tablet to play music, otherwise it is as waste of money. By the way, none of the Apps are free without commercials...

Great little device, brings new life to old speakers. Very easy to link with other chromcast devices.
