Customers are saying
Customers commend Chromecast Audio for its ease of use, excellent sound quality, and reasonable price. Many appreciate its seamless streaming capabilities and compatibility with other Google devices. While some users wish for a longer range and a built-in battery, the overwhelmingly positive feedback centers on the device's ease of setup and superior audio performance compared to Bluetooth alternatives. The convenience of using WiFi for audio streaming is also frequently highlighted.

Fill your world with music
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things are awesome. I purchased two and connected one to my stereo system in the living room and one to the sound bar in my bedroom. From my phone or laptop, I can now pipe music to either or *both* of the devices (through the "grouping" function). When sending to both, music synchronization is excellent and I'm able to have music throughout my entire place. Because the devices are a sound source, but not video, I can also display photos or whatnot on my TV (like through my Chromecasts) while playing unrelated music. The only caveat I can mention is that every so often (seldom, really) the group I created to in order to play music on both devices simultaneously seems to lose connection with one of the devices and only plays on the other. Deleting the group, rebooting the devices, and recreating the group solves the problem for me. Google is aware of this issue. Really, just a minor, very infrequent annoyance.

A No-Brainer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is easily one of the most reasonably priced and *actually* useful pieces of tech we have in our house now. We've used it almost every day since purchase, and will probably purchase another when the time comes to sync up our sound systems. Great, great, great.

Great for room to room audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chromecast audio is amazing. I have it set up all over my house. The group function works great for multiple room parties. Super easy to work. Sound quality is far superior to any Bluetooth wireless device.

Awesome Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a way to stream music from my devices to my home stereo without wires. I had been using a computer wired to the stereo and listening to Pandora. I read a lot about this online. I tried the Apple Airport device but couldn't get it to work and also found it really wouldn't do what I wanted. Then I read about the Google Chromecast Audio. I purchased one. I am so happy I did. It was simple to hook up to the home stereo. Setting it up was easy with the app. It connected right away to my home network. Now I can play music from my iPhone, iPad or other devices right over the stereo. It is simple to use and the sound quality is great! I would highly recommend the Google Chromecast Audio.

It works OK.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does what it is supposed to do. Easy to set up and music from phone and tablet steam with no problems. Unsure of its range since it is being used in a college dorm room and they are pretty small. I would recommend it to my friend.

Great way to get whole home audio for cheap
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently run 3 Chromecast Audio systems in my house. I created a group for them in the Google Home app so I can connect all my receivers and play the same music on each one. There is even an option to delay the sound on a system so they are all synced up and sound good. This is much cheaper than running a whole home audio system. Just buy a Chromecast for each receiver. I am using my old receivers that I have had for years, the only requirement is they have an auxiliary input and you will need a 3.5 mm to 2 RCA converter cable.

Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dreamed of having whole home music? On a tight budget? This is the ticket. I've got 3 of these so far and will be purchasing 4 more in the future. This single-handedly re purposed all of my old receivers and speakers. Now I can have the same music playing everywhere in the house that are all synced together perfectly.

Music in my garage!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I had this crazy idea... what if I took a set of old computer speakers with a powered subwoofer and hooked up a Chromecast Audio in the garage? The answer?? Music in the garage!! That's right.. I just took an old set of Logitech computer speakers that were gathering dust in the basement and plugged everything in and now if I'm working outside I can have tunes without having to blast the car radio. This little disk is awesome. Very simple to setup and anytime I want music outside I just stream from my phone. I'm going to buy another one next time they're on sale.. I have an old speaker bar that I don't use anymore... might as well get it playing music!

Works much better than a WiFi link
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried to cast music to a set of speakers in our living room through a Linksys range extender. While I can get it to work it is really difficult. The chrome cast is MUCH easier and has added some value and convenience to those speakers in the living room.

Extend your audio to non-connected speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Marshal Woburn and just bought a Google Home. This helps connect the Woborn to the Home system and gives me the ability to play music in multiple rooms. Compared to other "whole house systems", going this route is the cheapest and easiest way to keep all your speakers connected.

PERFECT!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a chromecast, you know what this is. Easy and convenient way to stream AUDIO ONLY to any stereo in your house. Honestly, I cannot see why you wouldn't get one of these for every stereo or one of the video ones for every TV in the house. Easy to pair with phones and PCs/tablets and easy to stream.

Great Litte puck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this so I could add my surround sound system to my google home music system. It was very easy to setup and it hides well behind the system. I have no issues with it streaming music. The only complaint is that it does not have google assistant build in. I would buy it again.

worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the chrome cast works very well the only issue i have with the item its self is range. if i am am using my google home in one room and the chrome cast in another to play music there will be a delay to the chrome cast. it is especially annoying when the rooms are adjoining so i can hear both playing at the same time.

Great device but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use bluetooth a lot. That being said I decided to give this a try. It is a great little device and has great sound quality not to mention it offers a few possibilities that bluetooth does not. Unfortunately, it was not for me. I am very particular about the apps I use for my music and to my disappointment, my apps were not supported.
