I bought this in anticipation for having a whole house cast the same music through my phone and it works well

Wanted to get one for my stereo so I can play my music outside. Better than the Bluetooth onne I was using.

I used to use BT and my Echo to pipe music in the bath while taking a shower and it was always a bit of a pain in the butt to use. Bought this when I bought my Google Home and now casting music is SO much easier. When they first came out I questioned the need for an audio only device, but now that I have it and GHome, I will probably buy another one! Also, with GHome, you can group these together and have whole house music playing. Just awesome!

Everything works as expected. Have connected to our home audio system and works flawlessly.

I love my Google Chromecast Audio. It lets me stream my music from my phone or computer to my sound system.

The Chromecast Audio is the best priced audio streaming device I have found. I wish there were more iOS apps supported.

I bought this so that I could use it in the bedroom for streaming from the Google Home. Pretty much the perfect solution. I connected it to an inexpensive portable speaker, connected it via the app and it has been flawless since then. You can use it by itself or group multiples and have a whole home sound system. I plan on adding one in my kitchen and another in my garage. No doubt this is the best value streaming audio product available.
