Works well with sound bar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to complement a Bose SoundTouch 300 sound bar since the sound bar does not directly integrate with Google services, and this gets the job done. The optical output on the Chromecast audio comes from the 3.5mm stereo audio jack, but you need to obtain a 3.5mm optical cable or a 3.5mm to TOSLink adapter separately, since neither are included with the Chromecast audio.

Great Product

I a 2003 A/V receiver which I haven't used for the longest time. Rather than it collecting dust in the attic, I took it out and brought i back to life. By adding Chromecast Audio, I am able to play digital music straight from my smart phone or computer. With it being wireless, there is no need to fumble with wires just to connect the audio source.

Full House Audio on a budget

If I am working upstairs or downstairs, we have company, whatever the reason...I wanted to be able to hear music at a comfortable level without blasting it from my surround sound. The competition was hundreds of dollars. This paired with a $10 pair of speakers and I can setup a listening port in any room. It works great!!!
