Audio output is really good

And only few well known music apps are compatible with this. Best thing is if u have home mini create group n play music for multi room audio.

My backyard is live

I can chain songs in control of volume. Only cons are if I leave it on for too long I have to turn off and turn it back on to reboot it in order to reconnect. And there's a few seconds leg when changing from one song to the next. But it's awesome to be able to change my music or volume from anywhere

MULTI ROOM AUDIO!

I bought three of them and I can now do multi room music streaming! Recently, google updated the HOME app to support audio cast of an android device. Any audio being played on my device is “cast” to my three sets of speakers. I love this device.

WiFi audio sounds so much better than Bluetooth. I have it plugged in a Bluetooth speaker in the restroom. Every time I shower I ask my google home to play my favorite music on it without having to do anything. So easy and convenient.

This thing is awesome

I was considering replacing my 12 year old receiver, mostly for the ability to steam music from my phone. Decided to try this first to save some money. The Chromecast Audio removes the need to upgrade. I can stream high quality music from my phone, tables, etc... No need to upgrade the receiver for now.
