I bought this in order to listen to music on an sound bar that isn't connected to a TV. It connects quicker than BlueTooth and doesn't drain the battery of my phone (or which ever device you used to cast your music).

Great if already own speakers and soundbars for getting multi room functionality going. Works most of the time and there have been only a few syncing issues. Pretty much limited to Spotify or Google music for streaming as Amazon & Apple cannot connect to Google devices.

This is a niche item, not as feature-rich as the full google chromecast, but if this is what you need for your audio setup, it will do exactly what you want and it will do it well. Google makes excellent products, backed by great customer support.

you can never go wrong with google products. this is a cheap and easy solution to turn any speaker in your house to wifi based entertainment, no lagging and music literally in every room and yard... same time, same way...

Like th title says, the sound is what I was hoping for with the stereo I connected this to. The connection was/is a challenge every time I use it. I have a regular chrome cast and experience nothing quite like this.

Chromecast audio is amazing! Not really understanding why they're being discontinued, but I have a few now to exploit the sounds of the web through! Highly recommended, especially if you hook up with optical.

I bought a bose speaker before Bluetooth was available. This allows me to hear radio without having to attach my phone. Excellent for what I needed. Only thing that would help is if it didn't need to be plugged to wall for it to work.

This audio cast was super easy to set up and works seamlessly. i bought 3 and can now play the same song throughout the whole house and even outside from one device. Works over wifi so wherever your wifi reaches you can have a speaker

I hooked this up to my receiver in the garage and was able to control the music from anywhere on the property. Favored this over bluetooth connection so that I didn't have to be within 30 ft to control the music. Great product

I love this product, makes any "dumb" speaker smart. Unfortunately it's difficult to find one. You can get it else where but the price is marked up and but still worth it, I just wish Google continued to make them.

I bought 2 Chromecast audios for my house, one for inside, and one for the patio, the ability to pair them together and stream to both at the same time is awesome! altho they do work best if you have a lower traffic channel on wifi (5ghz)

I was a little skeptical how much I would actually use this but having young kids who love music it has been great to play music on all my speakers with this and my google home. Perfect sound quality even at high volume.

I bought this chromecast audio as a means to sync audio between multiple chromecast audio connected speakers which worked better than I could have ever hoped for. Syncing was seamless and appeared to have just worked out of the box.

I have Chromecast audios in almost every room of my house. Google's ability to cast to "groups" is pretty good, though I wish normal Chromecasts would be supported for that as well.

It's a good product if you really don't want to lose music quality. Also it's a cheap way to zone spreadsheets within your home by getting multiple devices. The only bad part is, you can't play music stored on device. And not all streaming apps are supported.

I've tried Bluetooth adapters to convert my receiver. All of them stuttered if you even slipped out of range. This solved everything! No matter how far away your music streams clear as if it was plugged in directly. Highly recommend!

My parents just upgraded their sound system for their TV and this made it simple to play music from Tidal onto their brand new speakers without having to plug their phones directly in. Great option to reduce the cord connections!

Work great on an Android phone. Requires phone and device to be on same network for setup. May need a little help setting it up. Won't work in a car audio with blue tooth unless you set phone as a hotspot.

I purchased three ChromeCast Audios so that I could set up whole home audio. It works so well that I have since added two Google Homes to supplement my coverage. This is a much more affordable alternative to something like Sonos.
