Great. Have an old AV unit that doesn't have internet capability. Got this, added it on, and now can stream Spotify to it. Great addition to the unit. Too bad its no longer available.

A great little gadget that gets the job done. Doesn't have the best sound and streaming options,but is good for quick listening. I use Google Music and uploaded my music collection and love how I am able to stream from my online library from my phone or table.

Chromecast Audio allows me to access music and audio from almost infinite sources -- my own files on my laptop, international internet radio sources and streaming services. For me, it has opened a new world of music access that I have never enjoyed before.

I use this to stream audio to my soundbar via a pc. I have a weird setup but this was perfect for me. I even integrate with google home to play with voice commands thru my pc as a passthrough. It works perfect.

Using these instead of sonos for a multi room/whole home audio solution - us to 6 so far and still 6 to go but no issues and works well. Using one chromecast audio per zone

Did not reach to my expectation. Not very compact.

Bought this instead of Sonos since I have a ton of speakers laying around, decided to get these instead. Works for multi room but only in Google music so far. Spotify doesn't give you the option. Sure it will be corrected in the future but for now 4 stars.

Was very easy to set up works with my mini and that means anything with an auxiliary input can be a portable Entertainment System like out at my grill long as my wifi reachs there

This device is easy-to-use and has very reliable communication...I have 6 of them distributed throughout the house. Make Sure you have a smartphone that is optimized to work with the device(s) or you will have unreliable control of the audio streams

I purchased 3 of these and connected all of my speakers to them, now I have music playing through out the whole house... and Spofity works great along with my Google home! It saved me tons on money going this route.

Transformed my old Receiver into music machine!! My reciver didn't even have a 3.5 mm jack so I had to get a 3.5mm to rca jack best buy helped me with that too. We love our new music selections now

I purchased this because the home mini will not connect to my stereo. With this attached to the stereo I can cast to my stereo from my phone or the home mini. It makes a great addition And increases the versatility of all my products.

This device allows you to take an old surrounded sound system that has no internet connection to a whole new level. I threw the two devices into my work area in the garage and now I'm rocking out!

This gadget is great in pairing speakers to your phone or other streaming device for broadcasting music. I should have purchased more of these for my other speakers that do not have built in wireless streaming capability and still work very well.

Hooked this up to my fathers old stereo system and now he can play his entire digital library from his pc on the stereo. UPNP media server on pc then bubbleupnp on android casting to the chromecast audio.

Works awesome. Sound is really good thanks to the 24bit Dac. Links to other chromecast audio for whole house audio. Volume can even be controlled individually. Love it!

This very small chromecast device plugged into an open audio input on my av receiver and enabled me to use the receiver to stream musuc apps from my Google Home Mini. tt took about ten minutes start to finish. Works very well...

First off, reasonably painless to install and get on wifi. My first issue was discovering you can't play your music locally with Google Play. They expect you to upload your collection to the cloud for playback. With a little over 30gb in music, I really don't want to do that. Also, I'd like to use this in places where I can set up my own wifi, but there's no internet. I found that Rocket Player will cast local music on Android phone or tablet to your CCAudio. From windows laptop, Plex will cast local music. Other than some odd issues with the CCAs not being found somtimes, it works pretty well once you realize your workarounds for local music collections.

My Bluetooth connection between my computer and stereo was spotty so I switched over to this. I can cas from any computer or phone and listen to music on my stereo, even control the volume.

I used a couple old sony speakers and added these Google Chromecast Audio devices , then I setup a multiroom group ( Home Group) so I can listen to music in almost all of the rooms of my house now.
