Does exactly what it should. I hooked this up to my Bose 300 Soundbar system to get Chromecast capability. I had to buy an adapter, but that is a Bose requirement only.

Honestly obviates the need to pay hundreds of dollars for a new smart speaker if you already have a good sound system at home. Have recommended to several friends.

I have bought so many more than I expected. I have one for every room in my house. Being able to pay music throughout the home, or only in certain areas, or just location... It's amazing.

Set up as easy as plugging it in. Good product for streaming to your older stereo system. I did need to experiment with various inputs on the stereo...some have pre-amps and some do not.

Perfect way to get google home music to play on an older stereo with optical/analog audio ports. Now we get music from our Bose speakers. Great product that just works.

I have 3 of these now. Hooked it up to radios all over the house and can connect them all thru the Google home App. All radios can play the same music, great for whole house listening.

I got two of these one for my workout room and one for my bathroom and its great to just switch between the two with ease and if your speaker have a usb for power you can use that to plug in the crome cast its great

It is either something like this or use a bluetooth adaptor to get songs off your iPhone. Streams well and has better range than bluetooth. Can't figure out how to play songs from my iPhone though through it.

We use this in the pool area at home so we can lounge by the fire and play music through the stereo about 30 feet away. Works well for cutting the cord while we play.

Having tried many different options for streaming music in my home, Bluetooth, 3.5mm cable, etc this wifi connected device is by far my most favorite and reliable!

I use this for an old set of speakers in my garage. Allows me to keep my phone on me so I can change what I'm listening to while not moving from where I'm working.

This is a cheaper solution to any multi room music setup that you want to create. It works with any kind of speaker that at least has an aux port. Just plug it in and the speaker is ready to cast your music.

I honestly have no idea what this does but my 16 year old grandson uses it all the time and says he loves it. My other grandson wants one for this Christmas too.

Use this with my home stereo and google home. Make sure you use hifi setting. Works fantastically with google home and phone. Decent sound quality. A no brainer

Wish that it would act like a true Bluetooth device....it doesn’t. It will only broadcast from Chromecast compatable apps only. I.e. you can’t stream the music directly on your phone.

i have an old boombox with cassette tape with great speakers that i seldom use and this chromecast is what i needed to take advantage of the speakers. Thumbs up

I used my best buy rewards to pick up one of these. It works great with my Google home. Best part, it didn't cost me anything. For the price though, I still believe it's worth it.

I like I was able to plug this into my rca jack (cable not included) on my stereo and now I can play spotify from my patio without getting up to change the songs or control the volume.

It works well to convert a normal radio with an input to be used for bluetooth. I don't use it much but it does come in handy.

I use this with a home theater system and ahhh it with my Google home mini. I enjoy it thoroughly and it is always ready to go. It's worked flawlessly for months on end.
