First chromecast was a Christmas gift which I love and use on the TV in the family room. Decided to buy a second one so I can stream video from my bedroom TV. A year ago I didn'tn't even know what a chromecast was now I have 2 and couldn't live without them.

It gives you the ability to Cast what you are viewing on your desktop or Laptop to your home TV. It brings the Internet to your home TV Screen. Really nifty. you can look at TV shows you might have missed and prior to Chromecast you had to watch these shows on your computer screen. Now you can sit in your living room screen.

I really like the Chromecast. Easy way to watch from your phone to the tv. Great price.

You plug it into your TV's HDMI port, you follow the on-screen instructions (install the Google Home app on your smartphone, connect the Chromecast to your home network--takes maybe five minutes) ... and start casting! It's a no-brainer, five-star product that simply works. Everyone should have one.

I wish I would have gotten this item before I bought 3 Bluray players and an Apple TV. I LOVE Chromecast so much, I bought another. It is simple, easy and fun for the family. It is cost effective. The only downside is that Amazon Video items cannot be cast but the bluray player comes in handy for that task. Thanks Google.

This product is Amazing. All I need is a HDMI port and an Internet connection and I able to turn any TV into a smart TV. I already subscribe to a few of the more popular TV services (HULU and NETFLIX); and am considering others. This device has me taking a very serious look at cutting the cable/satellite cord all together.

This is a great value for the price. I like that it is easy to set up and and use also.

I own the original chromecast device. Recently heard about the new device and did my research. I was excited to see that the new chromecasts were way better than the original ones with picking up the wifi signal, and reducing buffering. I can gladly say that since I've owned my new device, it has not disappointed. I can now watch movies in peace without pausing every few seconds to buffer. Fantastic purchase. No regrets!!!

This device is very simple to use but does require someone to have basic smartphone skills. I was easily able to show my mother-in-law how to use this with her chromebook and android phone but the learning curve might be more difficult for people who aren't too familiar with google services. You can stream pretty much anything now (netflix, hulu, various sports apps, etc) and things that don't have a specific app can be casted from a comptuer's chrome window so that's always a good back up. I used this device to replace a HTPC computer I had attached to my TV and I am very satisfied. Its zippier, less cluttered, and allows me to have less remotes on my living room coffee table.

This is so easy to use. It's so much fun linking Facebook accounts to it to have a slideshow of your photos on screen. Really brings back past memories. Some people think having no remote is a hassle, but I personally love using my phone as the remote.

I am happy user of Google Chromecast for past two years or so. Didn't have anything to complain about it. I needed another Chromecast for my living room so that's why purchased the new Chromecast. Setup was ultra fast and seamless. It works great with my music streaming, in addition to the movie streaming from Netflix

I bought this product following the recommendations of a friend and it result very helpful when entertainment is required. I put to my little sons their cartoon from YouTube and I can use my tv as a mirror of my smart phone to see the pictures and videos. I am total satisfied with this product.

My 1st gen Chromecast is acting weird these days and it is time for upgrade. Got this when it was on sale for $20 during thanksgiving sale and it this is the easiest way to stream content on to your TV. Works great if you also have Google Home/Home mini and you are more in to Google ecosystem.
