This is an amazing tool for streaming from a device to your TV. We have four in our house. One for each TV. Each is named for the room it is in. When the TV is on, we can see it in the list and choose. When moving room to room you can easy switch on the app. Love this device.

ChromeCast has provided the best method to watch content the viewer chooses, not what is provided by cable or satellite. Your television can now easily and wirelessly feature video, photos, YouTube, or other online content from your computer or smart phone. To view movies or television shows stored on your computer, I recommend the VideoStream app.

The Samsung Gallaxy S8 Plus Cell Phone is easy to adapt to despite transitioning from using a Motorolla. I was expecting to be frustrated by a difficult learning curve but it is quite intuitive and the tutorials are helpful. The screen quality and camera are excellent. I chose the plus because I find larger screens are better for my vision. Also it has a blue light adjustment option. The speaker quality is also commendable. Since I was able to purchase it at a steep discount during the pre Black Friday sales the price was good. Without that discount the regular price is high. However it does deliver value for cost and is priced in the same range as other phones with similar features and quality. It also came with very decent AKG earbuds included. The charger USB cord is easier to plug into the phone now because the metal connector is symetrical in the same way that adaptors for Apple products are. I am happy with my choice of this product.

Super for streaming content, especially when using vendor apps through my cable subscription. Also the Google photo app gives the opportunity to enjoy pictures and personal video content on a big screen in HD

Google Chromecast offers a welcome complement to our home entertainment set-up. Installation and set-up is uber-east with the Chronecast photo app--plug it into the HDMI port on the TV and the power cord into a socket, answer a few questions on the app, and enjoy. We are related delighted with it.

This new Chromecast model seems to work better than the previous model. On the previous model, sometimes the video would lag when I casted from my laptop but would work perfectly when I casted on my phone. This new model works well with no lag on the laptop or phone. Only thing I had problems is when you cast Youtube videos, the queue option is a little confusing to use.

I like the design - very sleek and modern. It isn't obtrusive and doesn't stick out of my TV (might vary for some others, depending on how their TV's were designed). Easy to set up and stream content from my Android device. Have tried it with an iPad and works pretty well too. It handles streaming from your device to the TV a bit more efficiently than the 1st Generation Chromecast, but may still stutter if you have really bad bandwidth or if the phone gets too warm (my phone uses the infamous Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 which heats up relatively quickly). Other than that issue, I love using this to share content with friends and family!

I originally bought this device to play Cardcast with friends, and have found that it is able to be used for so much more. I am able to also use the chrome browser and cast my browser to the Chromecast, giving me ease with sharing pictures, watching movies, or just browsing the internet. Smart TVs are nice, but I find that this makes the experience a whole lot faster, as I am more comfortable with a computer interface. Lots of alternate apps on an android device to use with the Chromecast as well, including a karaoke app, JustDance app, and some Win, Lose, or Draw type apps. Lots to use it for, and it keeps getting better.

Makes your tv into a smart tv. Lets you play stuff from your phone, labtop, or any device that share the same wifi as you. Just makes life a little bit more easy.

Amazing, these little devices are the best, not only can you watch whatever you want by using your phone as a remote but with Google Assistant you can ask it to play things with just talking and the Chromecast gets to it instantly every time. Great product for a great price

I love the flexibility of watching what I want to watch, when I want to watch it. I can effortlessly stream from my tablet, phone or pc - whatever is the most handy. I'm really enjoying having it linked to my Google Home and being able to control it with voice commands too

First, this is only an incremental improvement over the original Chromecast. The new one is faster to respond than the original, but that is the only difference. I'm a heavy YouTube watcher, so it's nice to watch the videos on a full-sized TV. If you don't have a Chromecast or a set-top streaming device, get it. Otherwise, use what you have and wait for something better.

The round shape, magnetic back, and flexible connection wire are all nice improvements. I was pleased to find that my Smart TV automatically switches to the Chromecast input when casting is initiated from my iPhone. Overall, very pleased with the purchase, and having fun streaming YouTube videos.

If you use an android phone this is a must. I brought this for my sister and she loves it. We coupled this with a YoutubeTV subscription an she is now a true high tech cord cutter. She had been using Sling on the Roku but could not get local sports and local live stations.

This is the 2nd one that I now own and my plan is to have one in each room. Very inexpensive and great to have to watch Netflix or similar apps from phone or tablet when you don't have a Smart TV. My smart TV does not allow me to view Plex app so I still use this Chromecast on that TV as well.

I purchased my Chromecast to go with my new Toshiba television, which did not have smart tv capabilities. Set-up is simple and it is simple to use, I would recommend this device to any customer who currently uses an Android phone.

This product works exactly as I expected and I love using it. I stream Netflix from it, mirror my devices to it and play movies from my google play account on it. Once they get the bugs worked out it will be able to cast my Slingbox to it and that will just make me love this device even more.

I use it every day to stream movies and TV shows. It's very easy ton install and is very small so I can fit it in my pocket and use it on any hdmi display. It's worth every penny.

I have one already and decided to get it for my girlfriend. I already loved it and knew how convenient it was to watch everything you wanted. What made it even better was the improved design. The newer ones have a better shape so it won't interfere with other hdmi inputs. Truly a great product!
