    The fact that this device can connect via 5ghz is a worthwhile upgrade over the original chromecast, since a lot of the devices connecting to my router are 2.4ghz devices, leading to some bad internet speeds for those devices. Since the newer chromecast supports 5ghz it doesn't have to compete with the other devices for bandwidth.

    Product works fine but it took newly 2 hours to setup. After initial setup a patch had to be downloaded which took forever to complete.
