Easy to set up

It comes with a power cord but if your TV has a 2.0 USB port you don't need it at all. The App is very easy to use. I have used and iPhone and a Galaxy S7 Edge to control the Chromecast. Liked the feature to share your Chrome window from your computer that transmits both audio and video.

However, it does not allow you to download any additional apps which I did not like. I ended up taking this back to get an amazon firestick. I was more impressed with that. The google chromecast is easy to install.

The hdmi-cec is great to allow chromecast to switch inputs on my receiver automatically however for whatever reason when I turn the tv/receiver on it automatically switches the input to chromecast every time I turn the tv on even though I'm not trying to cast anything. This is really annoying.
