    Quality is excellent. Easy to cast my videos from HBO, Netflix, YouTube, CBS app, and also do a mirror of my phone. The round piece has a magnet in the back, not sure if it is to attach to something. But mine is hanging slightly off the hdmi, but no one is complaining.

    Once you get this product working it is a nice gadget to have for casting apps from your phone or tablet to your TV. I found the setup to be less than perfect since it took several tries to get it to connect to my network. It doesn't seem to like my Apple router but eventually it accepted the connection. Great product for watching Vid Angel movies and YouTube on your TV.

    Purchased to link my Google Home to my TV. Works perfectly and has more options/apps than on older smart TV, Amazon Fire and AppleTV. Voice recognition through Google Home helps speed up searches and eliminates typing with a remote control. I'm very happy with my Google Chromecast purchase.

    This is a great product if you do not have a SMART TV. It allows you to put videos from YouTube and Netflix that you are streaming on your smartphone onto your TV while still being able to use your phone for other tasks like texting or emails or Facebook. I don't think it is necessary if you have a SMART TV so that is why I gave it 4 stars.

    I already had 1st gen chromecast so I had no problem with operation or setup. Pretty much everything is identical except that 2nd generation (this one) supports 5ghz wifi. If you are living in 2.4ghz congested area and has 5ghz capable router, it definitely helps with quality of your stream.
