Purchased for an uncle as a birthday present who loves watching YouTube and other videos on his phone. He says this is the best gift he has ever received and loves how he can now watch everything on a bigger screen.

I only use it once in a while but it does exactly what its meant too. I got it so i can watch shoes that I normally watch on my tablet, right on my TV. It works awesome! Very simple and user friendly interface.

This works pretty well with my Samsung Galaxy S6. If you are using an app that casts, such as YouTube or Netflix, this works really well. But if you are using to cast screen and audio from phone (aka screen mirroring), it doesn't perform nearly as well. Audio gets glitchy.

I hopped on the first Chromecast train a while back, and it wasn't quite as good as the newer model. I would have given it a 5 if it weren't for the occasional playback issues where audio/video are not in sync. That's easily fixed by restarting the stream however...

Thanks to this device all the media on my device is free!!! Casting media to 65" T.V. from my tiny phone is a great plus. One star off due to needing WiFi to use it which makes it barely usable to unusable when at hotels. I use ScreenBeam Mini 2 when I'm in hotels.

We decided to get this so that we could watch online church services and music on YouTube from my laptop on our TV. It has been great. The only thing I regret is not getting it a long time ago.

Love it So much better than using an expensive DVR! However the service to get it was terrible! Ordered online and had to wait for them to get it from the warehouse, nearly 30 min, when it was right behind her the whole time and then they screwed up the attachment purchase I made.

Setup was pretty easy. It took a few attempts to connect to the router, but I think that was more due to an aging router that is located two floors above it. Have been able to mirror my Android phone screen, and stream video using an iPhone and iMac. Overall works well.

I love being able to send Praise music to my TV for much better quality sound. Get's me fired up for the day God has for me. Also love to watch performance car videos from YouTube. This thing makes it real easy.

Works great with my TV and my google home. I like it that I can have my TV just have cool pictures on it so when I'm not watching TV it looks good instead of a big black screen above my fireplace.

Works much better than the older chrome cast. This model is compatible with 5G WiFi networks which greatly improves the streaming experience and eliminates buffering and freezing encountered on the older version.

We are using chromecast to receive Hulu live and HDTV antennas in the attic for local stations. Great reception, and we're saving over $100 a month over cable. Using our phones as tv remotes is a great plus.

This chromecast is great when you want to mirror your phone to your tv....plays all the movies that I have on my phone and being able to cast and still be able to use my phone is GREAT

This is an excellent product which I have in every TV in my home. I recommend it for those with Netflix, Hulu, etc. My kids enjoy watching their favorite movies on it and so do the wife and I.

I love the fact that this device allows me to watch Netflix or Hulu or whatever subscription on a TV as opposed to my phone or tablet as it has allowed me to do so in the garage while working. All you need is wifi!!!

I bought this for my brother for Christmas, and he loves it! He wanted something that would allow him to use his computer and still watch things from the internet at the same time - this is the perfect solution.

This is a good connection device for TV. It allows through the Internet to connect it to the TV and thus enjoy different programs together with the family. the installation is quite easy and fast.

As someone who streams constantly to his iPad, I've always wanted to throw the stream on the big screen. Works flawlessly with Apple products. Don't waste money on an Apple TV when this works great for $30!

Easy to connect your android phone or tablet to show pictures on any TV with an HDMI connector. The draw back is that only a limited amount of things can be streamed from your android device to the TV with chromecast.

Chromecast is a wonderful device which helps you cast whatever you want on your tv so you can see it on a bigger screen. There is a definite use of it if you want to cast anything from your laptop
