This by far has to be the best streaming device out. It easily connects to my iPhone and iPad and allows me to access all types of content. It also works flawlessly with my google home.

I have smart tv but when I got google home this device was a must. And not only it is convenient to use I can connect anything with my tv now Im just loving it.

Its great to share your laptop or phone screen. You can watch everything on your tv if you just have your phone. Plus it has apps like Netflix and Hulu to watch all your favorite shows.

Recently cut our cable service as the cost just continued to increase. Purchased this Chromecast based on a friends recommendation. Absolutely love it. Very easy to setup and use.

Great product! Why didn't I buy one of these sooner? Works great with my plex server, using my G Play credits to rent movies, or just displaying photos on my devices with friends and family.

The main reason I got this was because my mom is hard of hearing and the VUDU app on xbox one and on smart TVs does not offer subtitles. With Chromecast, I can get those subtitles for VUDU.

I got it because i wanted to watch movies on my TV without draining the battery on may tablet, and it works. I can even turn off may tablet and the Chromecast continues broadcasting the movie

Tried using this Chromecast several times already. Google Chromecast connects to your devise via Wifi Connection thru your Router. If you want to have good result, you will need to have a Fast Cell Phone or Fast Tablet plus a Fast Wifi Network Connection to your Router. If you have lots of connection on your Wifi Network already or if your device is NOT fast enough, the result will not be good. My recommendation to Google will be for the Chromecast to issue its own Wifi Connection to connect itself to the device directly and by passing the Router completely while the Chromecast itself can still connect to the Router to provide the internet connection back to the device.

I hooked it up to my tv so that I could hear music from my Soundbar that I had attached to the the tv. Now, using my Google Mini, I can hear music using only a voice command.

I have a non smart tv in my bedroom and wanted to watch Netflix. I was able to watch it with the chrome cast and was able to mirror a lot of things from my phone on the tv.

Great design, functionality and capability. Works well and easy to configure. The convenience to watch movies/TV shows and work on your computer in a BIG screen TV wirelessly is awesome.

I love the flexibility of the unit and how I can project powerpoint presentations and video as well as photos from my camera etc... I recommend this product to anybody that is in business for themselves or even for casual use.

I bought this for my media room however, it doesn't work in there since the room is foam insulated & sound proofing. I can't get a wireless internet connection in that room. However, I am using the device in my bedroom & it works great in there!

Chromecast is okay - basically an interface between the TV and another device. I would recommend looking at all the other devices for TVs that have come out recently, as this one is the most basic you can get. Some TVs even run on Android now.

This is a great way to stream content to TVs. It takes advantage of equipment you already have: TV(s), WiFi network, and is a great viewing experience. I have a couple around the house.

I loved my 1st gen Chromecast but it was no longer working as well. I was extremely reluctant to 'upgrade' but I'm glad I did! So responsive and well worth the $35.

Bought second one for second tv. Can mirror device or coputer on tv. Using it for youtube tv ( beta) mostly. Still some bugs with youtube tv, but is a great a alternative to cable

Had to replace my first generation Chromecast and like it's predecessor it was a simple installation. Within minutes it was up and running. Absolutely no complaints about my new product.

What can I say about this little inexpensive streaming device but thank you Google. I am streaming my family pictures, Netflix, Hulu, and hoopla movies. Who needs cable!!!!

My only complaint and that may be my router though is that sometimes when switching songs from Google play music it performs task on Google home but not on cast device. Easy work around though is to just cancel and reenable casting
