The chromecast projects entertainment from your phone to the tv the Chromecast is plugged into. The phone also acts as a remote and surprisingly, the service does not drain the battery. However, you must enter the individual service (i.e. Netflix, You tube, etc) to start the cast but enter the Google Home to stop it. There have also been huge buffering moments and lots of freezing. A new version was just released to maybe that has been fixed but as of now my order for cord cuttiny devices bottom to top is Chromecast, Fire Stick and then Roku

My first Chromecast with the new design. It works as expected, but I'm really looking forward to buying a few more and setting up a group.

Been using a while. The networks are the problem when they don’t allow streaming to chromecast. I’ve found it a smoother stream if you don’t do 5G on some networks.

We replaced our old chromecast with this one and love the increased response time. Lag time between computer and tv is greatly diminished.

I was able to get three batteries for 17 dollars which seems like pretty good value. So far they seem to be working just like I would expect.

This is my second chromecast. It makes it so easy to cast multi-media using chrome browser to my TV and a projector. I am loving it.

Googles Chromecast gave us the ability to watch a few Seahawks games last season that we wouldn't otherwise be able to watch.

I still can't believe I get so much for such little money. I just wish I had bought it a long time ago .. It's great for Netflix bingewatching

Needed to get a chromecast to a developer friend of mine in another state and Best Buy made it so easy! I already have three myself.

This is the 2nd Chromecast that we have purchased (for a 2nd room). Both work great and allow us to watch HBO and Netflix on our big screens.

Not my first Chromecast i keep leaving them in hotel rooms so i picked up another one and loving having them available when on the road.

I bought the Chromecast specially to mirror my phone on my TV for some reason when I do use it it loses connection and i have to go through the whole process of login in also it seems like the picture on my phone is usually quicker than what's on the screen so it all depends on the time of day because there's days when I have a good connection and there's days when every 15 minutes or so i have to reconnect because it just loses connection

With the phone app, this made watching Netflix better. Just no quick playback controls since my phone drops the connection after a while.

I am using these to make digital picture frames for the house, they work well being on 24/7. No issues with connectivity.

If your TV doesn't have any smart features Chromecast is a must. You can send to it videos, photos, etc. via Wi-Fi. Works just great!

It works just as it is intended. Easy to hook up but requires phone to download and support app to cast to your TV. You better have a big memory phone to make it work better.

This streaming device works great. No major issues. Occasionally, it refuses to casts from my phone but I'm not sure if thats an internet connection problem or a problem with the device.
