A friend of mine showed the Chromecast to me, I bought one to use at home. Setup and use have been very easy, I am primarily casting Netflix and HBOGO from my phone to the big screen. Reccommended.

I have multiples throughout the house. Ive completely cut of my cable and i dont miss it at all. Chromecast has enabled me by being able to stream everything on hulu, netflix, and crunchyroll.

The device itself works great, sometimes the apps on my phone or computer need to be reset, which can cause problems, but I can stream almost anything from the vast majority of the devices I own.

After comparing against similar products, this was the best choice for what I needed it to do. And believe me it does plenty and at a fraction of the price!! Trust me, you will not be disappointed!!

I have been considering products such as Chromecast for some time but was intimidated that with my limited electronic abilities, the set up and functioning might be over my head. Chose this product because of the $35 price versus other products costing around $100. Was delighted at the ease of setting the product up and its flexibility in that I can now stream from my iPhone, IPad and computer. The streaming is flawless. I am thrilled with this product and its reasonable cost.

This device is a must have for those who want to stream to all sorts of content from netflix to youtube and many other services straight to their TV with simplicity. I Highly recommend this product.

Bought this for my daughter's birthday. She loves it. She watches a lot of Netflix On tablet, so I got this to transfer from tablet to tv. You can use this on any tv threw Google Internet browser.

Great little device for streaming video from mobile device to TV. Ideal for standard televisions. No more watching or streaming videos to tiny hand held devices.

The chromecast was not hard to setup and all. Not only that but once you've gotten it configured on your tablet your off and running, I took a personal day from work to tinker with it :). Best ever.

A great way to watch Netflix, Hulu and other online programs on a TV that is not a Smart TV. I can relax on the couch or in my bed and don't have to be plugged into a computer. And the price is a steal.

Setup was easy for someone with minimal technological expertise. Just plug it into your hdmi capable tv, then follow the instructions. To ensure that you can run this product, look for the hdmi connection on the back or side of your tv. And you must have WiFi internet as well. I watch anything and everything on my tv now, including YouTube videos. Best purchase I ever made.

Setup is a bit less convenient than, say, Apple TV or Roku: requires using of an actual mobile device to project content. Streaming quality is good and reliable.

This is my second chromecast. Very easy to set up, connects with no problem. When my sister visits she connects so we can watch movies. Next time they're on sale going back to get one for traveling.

I went to best Buy to buy a remote control to Apple TV, when I saw the chromecast. This is a very nice deal... almost the price of the remote controle, with the same functions of full apple tv!

I have a smart TV, but I wanted a lot more functionality and portability for a variety of reasons. Particularly, I wanted to port laptop apps to a TV screen, This is a very smart, good product.

Great gift for my children. It was super easy to download and set up. Great price as well. I only wish the quality of the picture was a little better, but this depends the wifi strength I suppose.

Scoured the net and actually got the last one at a Best Buy quite far from me. I so far the drive was worth it. It's a fun little gadget that can stream almost anything to your TV from your phone or laptop. I basically got mine for $11 because I was able to qualify for the free 3 month Netflix in time - so I can't complain much. The regular features work pretty nice. The extra features, in BETA, to stream your pc desktop and movie files weren't perfect but worked. Desktop was a bit laggy moving the mouse. And a lot of the video files (format) wouldn't play when I dragged into the browser to cast to TV. I'm assuming it's a codec issue or BETA issue. Could not play almost all my mp4 and some other formats. I haven't messed with it in a while so hopefully an update fixes that. But all in all, a fun gadget if you wanna show of that you can stream your desktop and movies wirelessly with just one gadget.

It is a good product to sync the laptop and smart tv. It would have been better if it is not restricted to just chrome browser and also supports the iPhone/iPad.
