Forget apple TV, Google Chrome is the best! Now we can stream Netflix movies on our big screen tv using our home wifi! Love this!

I'm really impressed with this device. It turned my old TV into a Smart TV. I have a three-year-old MacBook and Most Website streamed well through Chrome. Hulu.com streams audio and video perfectly. Websites with problems: 1) Slingbox doesn't stream the audio. 2) Netflix.com uses Silverlight and that doesn't work at all with Chrome on a Macintosh. (Note: Netflix works perfectly with the iPad) I'm really satisfied with this device.

I bought this to use at hotels while traveling. I hate having to watch my shows and movies on my Ipad. Very reasonable price and easy to use. I like everything about it so far.

Everything from slideshows to movies to whatever you do on your laptop, tablet, phone, any wifi device, can been 'casted' to any display device that has a USB or HDMI port.

We have a flat in town and cable services at our other locations. Chromecast is a good way to cheaply leverage premium and other shows available via on-demand where we only have an Internet connection. The ability to cast a generic browser window seems to be getting better but it's not yet as good as, say, hbogo, which has the chromecast icon built in. Sometimes the stream becomes disconnected from the site you are casting from, but basically it works well. I like the ability to mute your PC but have full audio from the TV.

It took a little bit of time to connect and figure everything out, but once it was working, it has been fantastic! The picture and sound are both very clear and HD quality!

Best $35 I ever spent. The product isn't perfect, but its hard to complain considering all it does at the price they charge for it. Recommend one for every tv in the house.

Even though I have a smart TV, I purchased this because of the great price and it offers some additional services that my TV doesn't. It was easy to set up and works great!

Amazingly easy to install, configure, and operate. Using it with Laptops, iPads, etc. It is very versatile. Plan on buying two more soon.

I got tired of moving the chromecast between the 2 TVs in the house so bought a 2nd one. I looked at the other choices but this was the one that appealed to me the most.

this one was purchased for my daughter, i currently have 2 in my home and love them, very little problems, and when something does happen, they are very easy to reset.

For the price, it can't be beat. It is so easy to use; just open a streaming app on your iPhone or iPad and hit the new Chromecast button on your screen. I was going to buy a Roku or Apple TV, but this is 1/3 the price! Granted, you do have to have a device to stream from, so it is not a stand-alone box like the Roku or Apple TV. That being said, it works great with my iPad, iPhone, and Windows 8 PC, and I really love it!!

Love how compact it is. Pack it in your bag or pocket and take it anywhere. Make sure you have a good WiFi connection though!

Installation was easy and we stream video from either the PC or our Android phone. Such a luxury to watch video on the bigger TV screen when our whole family is together.

I was looking for a way to stream Netflix to my TV and was considering an Apple TV. When I found the Chromecast for 1/3 the price, I had to give it a try. It's so small, just plugs into the HDMI on the TV and a power supply. I'm technology useful, but not an expert at all, and the setup was a snap. My wife was skeptical, but once she saw how it worked, we got another for the TV in the BR. You can also steam YouTube easily.

No more annoying wires to attach to the tv and the phone. This updated version includes all necessary cords. Just plug into our tv and connect via phone app. Awesome.

Best idea ever! Easy to install and to use, minimal streaming issue but most likely due to ISP not this product - I love it.

I picked up the Chromecast at Best Buy on Black Friday for about $23. The price was the lowest I had ever seen. I got it home, plugged it into my new 50 inch television, installed the app on my iPhone, and followed the easy directions. Netflix, of course, looks terrific, but I was shocked by how good the HD videos on YouTube look. Many of them look Blu-Ray quality. There are plenty of apps, but no Amazon Prime. I hope that becomes available soon. For the money, this little device can't be beat.

I was thinking about getting a roku to stream netflix to my bedroom tv and then I found out about the chromecast. I'm so glad I waited because it was almost half the price with very similar functionality. I use my chromecast to stream HBO Go, Netflix, Pandora, and I can stream downloaded videos from my tablet. I can't wait for the mirroring capability to be released. I liked my chromecast so much that I bought a second one.
