I was tossing between the chromecast and appletv. Ended up choosing Chromecast due to the price. I was mainly interested in streaming Netflix, HBOGo and spotify to the TV. With spotify though, you can't currently cast from the mobile app, but it works if you open up spotify in Chrome and cast from the browser, so I'm semi satisfied with that.

We watch Netflix and Hulu all the time and this is the perfect way to enjoy it wherever we go. Setting the Chromecast, up was easy and took less than 5 minutes.

This is honestly so handy in my home. It's so easy to use and so easy to install! It can connect to any phone in my home, which makes it so helpful! It's great!

This is a great little peice of tech gear. access apps and can use different devices to send to TV or whatever you like to use.

Installed easily, apps fo chop casting most sites and videos. Only, will not work with comcast's infinity tv. No app for that.

I connect it with my cell phone. it is very useful especially to watch those videos in websites that are not in apps like netflix or amazon. I really love it.

Daughter seems to like it,uses it for watching Netflix,YouTube & Pandora,I like that when watching YouTube you can turn off phone or tablet & it still plays.

The chromecast is a really handy product for watching netflix, hulu, hbo go, etc on a non-smart tv. It's super simple to set up and makes for a great gift.

I didn't even know about Chromecast until a friend of mine brought his over when he came to visit. It's great to be able to pull up videos people e-mail to me, movies or Broadway HD events (one of my favorites) on my laptop and casting to my TV--so much better watching on my big TV than my laptop, tablet or smartphone. Sets up in seconds and so easy to use.

Have a few of these and the ability to stream from my phone, iPad and tablet is great. Set up is really simple and once you figure it out it's indispensable.

Quick set up . You can control it with multiple devices . My daughter is two and she knows how to get YouTube from the IPad to the TV. Great for the price .

Works great with many apps. Easy to use. Even the kids at age of 5 can use it easily. Definitely recommend for watching video from ipad onto the big screen.

This enables me to watch Netflix in our bedroom rather than compete for the TV in the living room. Easy to install, and easy to operate from my smartphone!

This little thing is awesome. I can watch my streaming movies and cast them to my big screen TV. Simple, easy to use instructions make for a nice movie night.

So easy to use and set up. You do have to have wireless Internet access or WiFi in the area with the tv, but other than that your set, just what's in the box.

I use this just about every day. Where I work, we have a large TV into which we have a Chromecast. We have a new tradition where we each choose one YouTube video of around 3 minutes or so to show on it each day to break up the daily grind. Has worked wonders for morale. The video and sound quality are fantastic and it was a breeze to set up and use. I've already bought a second one for home.
