This is an awesome device for streaming video. I never tried streaming video at home in the past because I didn't want to watch shows on a small screen when I have a giant HD television to watch. This device changed that. I couldn't get the Chromecast to work with my old macbook that runs on Snow Leopard, but it works great streaming from my phone and tablet.

Such a convenient little device. I bought it for my boyfriend and he loved it. We use it in the rooms we don't want to drag the XBOX to.

Very easy set up, but you must have the apps on your device to stream it to the chromecast. No issues after a few months of using it.

Easy hookup, works with laptop and mobile devices well. Some times volume can be lower, but overall great product at the price point.

Turns any HDMI TV/monitor to a Smart TV !! If you have any a android device such as a tablet or phone you can use this as a remote control or as a screen mirror thus allowing you to share photos and pictures or videos with you loved ones, make your screen as large as the monitor or tv display for gaming etc. But the way I use it the most is to watch movies on my TV using Netflix or other applications I actually prefer it far better than cable as I have no commercials and can pause or pick up where I left off at any time.

I bought this in order to watch movies in my tablet on my big tv via screen mirroring. It's works great and the picture quality is good.

Very easy setup. Great for music when you need to host people. Needs to be used within more applications.

Makes everything pretty simple to watch from ipad. Very convenient for our bedroom where we don't have cable box bc we didn't want one.

Great if you want to watch Netflix or stream anything from the web onto your TV. Make sure you have an HDMI port on your TV to plug it in. Simple directions and easy to use with your laptop or ipad or tablet. The Google Chromecast is also very affordable. It is a must have if you do not have a smart TV which costs alot more than the Goggle chromecast.

I use this devise to see in the TV what I have in my smat phone. Works better than Apple TV.

Works very easily and mirrors just like it is supposed to I do recommend buying the usb to Ethernet adapter for a better connection.

I have used chromecast since a month now and have found the set up and usage mostly error free. The casting function works smoothly most of the times when casting chrome tabs, leaving a couple of instances when some delay was seen between the laptop and the TV. When casting entire desktop, I would like google to include the option to transmit audio through the TV.

We bought this as a gift for our daughter and son-in-law and they love it. They had tried the Roku stick and said this is far better.

This product has me wondering how I ever lived without it. We are living in a digital age. With that being said, my husband and I don't really ever use BluRay's, DVD's, or anything like that, so it would be useless to get a player just for Netflix. Enter the Google Chromecast: It has an open source community, giving it unlimited potential for new apps, but already supports major media streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu+, and even allows your to "cast" your current Google Chrome Browser tab to the Chromecast to view whatever is on it, whether it be a video, website, GoogleDocs, etc. It is extremely easy to set up, takes about 5 minutes to just connect to your wireless, run an update, and you're set. After that its just a couple of clicks or taps on your screen to pull it up on the television. It even automatically turns on the TV when you tap the cast button! The only complaint I have is that I have a TV mounted pretty high on the wall that doesn't have a USB cord to power the Chromecast, so I had to utilize the AC Adapter that comes with it...but since the TV is mounted so high the cord was not long enough. It's not a problem that everyone would run into...I just ended up using an extension cord. All in all, an amazing product with unlimited potential!

My second Google Chromecast. Works beautifully casting form my iPad or my Android phone. I recommend it highly. Great price as well.

This is one of the best small purchases I have made. Love that I can send just about anything to the tv from my phone, laptop, or ipad.

This is my second chromecast. Very useful to connect to several media services. Seamlessly works with all hand held devices and TVs.

Great small product to stream videos from computers or phones to non-smart tv's that have HDMI. BE ADVISED, YOU MUST HAVE WIFI AT HOME.
