Item has easy set up and works fine. Allows for streaming from internet such things as movies. etc. Good value for dollar!

This is an amazing little toy if you don't already have something to stream Netflix. It's great because it is really easy to use and setup, but it would be nice to have more apps to stream. Currently there is only support for Hulu, Netflix and YouTube. This thing is extremely portable. I can plug it into any TV in the home and it works.

The Google Chromecast allows me to stream video to my TV. I can stream YouTube from my Windows 7 laptop as well as Sony Vue from my iPhone. It was easy to set up and it works flawlessly. I paid $35. It is probably the best value electronics item I have ever putchased. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Great to use out on the road if you don't have an HDMI cable or your portable device doesn't have a way to connect to the TV.

Love the ability to stream anything from computer!!!! Plus picks from iPhone and iPad. Streaming Netflix is also very easy

I highly recommend this device to anyone who wants to stream media from your iphone, computer, and android device your TV.

Chromecast is an awesome device that has a lot of potential. For me, I bought 4x of them because I know that they will be useful for TV's that don't actually have cableboxes or other input connected to them such as my mounted Kitchen LED TV and my LCD TV in the office. Once I connect the chromecast device to these tv, I can easily enjoy my entertainment on these TV's that has no cable boxes connected to them. I don't have to go out and buy more hardware, I just use my existing Laptop and a chrome browser and I tab cast my browser which is where I intake most of my content from right onto the screen. Also it works with Youtube, netflix and Google Movies. I think for the $35, this is a great investment. Hopefully some more features are available soon.

I've the Roku 3, Fire Stick and this one. Fire Stick has to be plugged into an AC outlet but Chromecast is connected to my TV usb power. Chromecast tends to run hot though. With bot the Fire Stick and chromecast, I could sideload XBMC or TVMC. I prefer the Amazon with the real remote vs. using my smartphone. Got both for under $30. The Roku 3 is more expensive and I could attach a HDD. I did not try the Roku Stick.

Easy setup and now we can watch what is on own PC or IPAD on our TV. Made watching superbowl a lot better. Great product.

I know many folks use this for commercial streaming services; my use is generally to cast to my television things like cycling events that are only available to stream a computer. I also use it as a way to have an additional monitor on my computer by "streaming" a static image tab from within Chrome. It works well enough but I did not see anything in advance indicating it was limited to 720 screen resolution.

I love the chrome cast because I can stream movies to my tv. My little girl thinks its the best thing since sliced bread!
