Worth the buy! Don't have to spend almost $100 for a streaming box when this device can do the same

At $35 it is the best value to stream Netflix on my HD TV. It took a couple of minutes to install and configure. I works great and I like the idea that I can continue to use my laptop or smartphone for other things as I watch Netflix. I look forward to other streaming services. This is a :MUST" buy!!!

This was a second Chromecast for a different room. Same great results for streaming from my phone.

I love this product. Not that many apps, however if you use google chrome on your computer, you can watch anything by installing the Cast Extension! I bought two of them! Def recommenced for people who stream shows or watch a lot of Netflix and stuff.

Just plug it in and stream. Very user friendly and inexpensive solution. Netflix and YouTube work great.

In spite having an HDMI cable for which we paid 18 bucks, me and my wife did want to check out the chromecast. First of all my old laptop gets hot after keeping it on ground for half hour and with the HDMI, i had to leave the laptop close to the TV since the length of the cable is limited. Plus I had to keep it propped up with some packing so that the base would be ventilated. With the Chromecast Its possible to have the laptop with you and you can open up other tabs while the video or music that you are casting is still playing on the TV. Yes It does loose connection several times in spite of the extension that the chromecast is plugged into, which the vendor recommends using if you are having connection issues, but that hasn't outweighed the wonderful product this is to begin with. Overall we do love it and we are watching movies on it all the time.

This product is great. I use it to stream movies on my office television.
