I am very happy with the chomecast, became to be one of my favorites.

some times its not as quickly responsive as I expect it to be.

I really enjoy using my chromecast streaming device no more buying or renting movies.

I am totally satisfied with the function of Chromecast.

Works great, but yesterday while watching MI-Ghost Protocol, I got a call on my cell, which is the remote. Chromecast would not pause so i could answer the call. Normally my Galaxy S4 does a great job as the remote. Not sure what the prob was, but it's back to normal now. $35 and 3 months free Netflix. I can't really complain!

For the price Google Chromecast is pretty cool! I got it because I can use the Mirror option viewing on my smart tv and use my apps to watch movies and tv shows from my Phone wirelessly. It has some other cool features but I don't use most of them. Overall, I think it is a good piece of tech. Buy one and check it out for yourself.

Excellent product google ! an excellent upgrade for any hdtv, and only cost 30 bucks... Thank You google and Best Buy ! PS, I bought one to test, a week later I bought a second one... I believe I will get one for each tv on my home.

IPad to HDMI is almost $50 this is only $35. Apple TV is $100+ This is a perfect alternative. It works great and it's cost is great.

I had some issues in the beginning about connecting but after that it workers perfect.

I bought the my Chromecast before they finished announcing it. I use Google's music and movies services on Android already, so for me this was an obvious "get" purchase. It really is quite easy to set up, as long as you have a smartphone or tablet running Android (Samsung Galaxy, LG, Motorola, HTC) or iOS (iPhones/iPads). First step is to download the free Chromecast app (Android http://goo.gl/fVnMcf or iOS http://goo.gl/763yZ3) If your phone is connected to your home network, it sends the information to the Chromecast, and away you go. One feature many people miss is the ability to send an entire web page to your TV from a computer using the Google cast extension for Chrome (http://goo.gl/GwFQ1F). If you want to watch a show on a network whose app doesn't yet support the Chromecast, just use this extension, and the page goes to your TV, audio and all. Eat that, Comedy Central, ABC, etc. For compatible apps, including Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Pandora, etc., it's as simple as finding what you want to watch, then hitting the little Chromecast button that has now appeared in your app, and selecting which TV to use. Now your device is your remote (volume, too!). I use my Moto X and Nexus 7 for this all the time. iPhone works too! Yes, Roku and Apple TV are a bit more functional, but for the same price, you can get 3 Chromecasts - for multiple TVs or for gifts. Such a great deal, and it's getting better every month.

Bought this to stream a chromecast only game (dehumanize your friends) but fell in love with its simplicity, picture quality, and ease of use once set up. Only complaint was it took me an hour plus to get the chromcast to connect with my S5 phone to play that game. Happened again when I changed phones. I'm probably doing something wrong, but it's like "click here to connect" and it would fail over and over. After a while it would connect. Everything else considered, for around $30, you cant beat it.

Great price, easy to install, and works great for watching hulu and YouTube with just a quick click for connection. Only two problems with it, my Kindle Fire does not seem to be compatible with it, so I can't connect it to my kindle at all and sometimes when I try to skip forward or back on a video the connection freezes and I have reset the connection. Other than that works really well.

This is the smart TV solution I've been looking for. I have experience with Boxee, Roku, WD Live, Smart TV's and BR players, and this is wins for both price and ease of use. Google has found a solution to the smart TV puzzle. Setup is super easy. You can use your computer or a smart-phone/tablet app. Streaming to the device is very simple with the Chrome browser plugin, or with apps from your phone/tablet. The only downside is that not many apps support Chromecast yet, but that's getting better all the time. Plex recently opened up Chromecast support to non-paying subscribers and it works perfectly! I use a Mac and iPhones so I would love to see Airplay support. I have a Nexus tablet as well. All devices work very well, though the Android apps are leading the charge with support for obvious reasons. Still, Plex and Youtube work great. Bottom line: Awesome device and well worth the price. If you want to stream video to your TV, this is an excellent choice.

Many electronics can do what Chromecast can, but the real benefit is the portability. This little guy can be used anywhere you can get on WiFi - someone else's house, hotel room, etc. The Chromecast is easy to setup and use - and casts from popular services (and even does screen sharing) really well. I'm very satisfied, and I'd totally buy again.

When I first used the chrome cast I wasn't sure what to expect but boy was I pleased. It's nice and neat and comes with a hdmi adapter to both extend and enhance quality of the hardware. I am able to use the chrome cast with my Galaxy note 4 and smart tv seamlessly. It pairs with the device easily and can be used to mirror your smart device. I would say it works better with android than iPhone for some reason as my iPhone 6 plus does not connect as well. I use chrome cast to watch all my shows on either the tv apps like abc or use it with my apps to stream movies legally (wink wink). I wish there were more apps compatible with it. That's the only negative comment I have. Anyone who wants to watch their shows or you tube videos through their big screen tv or laptop, I highly recommend this purchase.

Got the Chromecast on sales price because the store forgot to take down the Black Friday price tag so I save around 15 bucks. The streaming feature works perfectly and the picture quality is solid as well so you're not always getting blurry images, now this may be because of my internet connection but either way, the streaming quality of this device is one I'd recommend. I bought this specifically for my bedroom TV so we'd be able to watch Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc... from the bedroom as the TV we have in there is not a smart TV like the one we have in the living room. All in all, I'd recommend this as a streaming device, you will need an internet connection mind you, but if you want to watch some apps on your TV, there's no better - or cheaper - option.
