Allows use of computer, phone or tablet as a remote to drive the device. Video is not streamed from your device so bandwidth requirements are not as severe as AirPlay, but you are currently limited in terms of app support to YouTube, Chrome tab on some devices, Netflix, Pandora and a few other apps. More and more apps will add support in the future, but, so far, no mirroring support. I find myself wishing it had support for a GUI and a standard remote as well. The free Netflix offer originally handed out with this reduced the cost to the point where there was no reason not to get one.

Get the most bang for your buck

This thing is great! It allows me to seamlessly stream Netflix (the only thing I use it for) and I am quite pleased. Also, I bought a second one for my brother in law.
