I love it when tech products just work and do what they are supposed to do. The Chromecast works great whether I want to watch YouTube vids with friends, Show my recent vacation pictures to my parents, or watch movies on Netflix. Whatever your media needs the Chromecast works great - all you need is an Android phone/tablet or iPhone/iPad and the Chromecast app and your good to go!

Supported applications stream very well for a third of the price of an apple tv

I love using it for Netflix! Much cheaper than going out and buying a smart tv.

For $35 you really can't beat this. It makes life so convenient when you can stream your Android phone to your home TV or any TV with an HDMI cable for that matter. My main use for it right now is streaming Power Point presentation to the TV screen. In combination with office software (which I will not name here) you can actually flip through the slides while you're giving the presentation. Obviously there's limitations compared with using a computer, but if you just need the presentation and have no need to lug your computer around, it makes life a lot easier. You may notice that it's a little sluggish depending on your network speed, but that's on the fault of your network rather than the device so... Yeah overall it's a really neat little tool to have with you and for the price compared to other products that claim to be able to do the same thing, this is a steal.

To me the Chromecast it's the Best streaming device out there. Easy to use

I bought this after tired of waiting for Apple tv. It's a good product for people who want to use this for it's inbuilt application . I don't recommend for casting tv shows through your laptop and iphone. Works well with the application with casting extension.

This is a very inexpensive way to get into the streaming game. High quality streaming as long as internet speed from your provider is sufficient. Very easy to set up and use. Controllable by anyone with an iPhone, iPad, tablet or android on your WiFi network.

Turns any T.V. Into a smart T.V.. I primarily used chrome cast with netflix, works excellently. I can stream from my phone, iPad, or computer without any issue.
