make your TV a smart TV

Love it!

A family member has one and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to watch You Tube videos on the big screen. The quality is superb! I wish you could use it to project everything on your computer or device but it does have its limitations that Google does make clear in the advertising. I have read there are workarounds but I have not taken the time to try them yet. I imagine Google will come out with a more robust model or expand the offerings of the Chromecast. We still have cable and our TV's are not "smart" so the Chromecast fills the void.

What a Great Little Invention!

They were quite pleased, and we used one of them to watch Netflix movies on our full size TV on Christmas Day. It was great!! First of all, they had no trouble downloading the Chromecast app and setting up the media player for use on our TV. Then, when they downloaded the movie and it began to play on our TV, it was amazing!...clear picture and audio! This is a fantastic little invention, and I'm sure my sons are going to enjoy using it!

My goal was to stream netflix and youtube to my tv. Wasn't interested in apps so he chromecast was perfect. Use with my iphone and iPad. No complaints.
