Only a few Android/iOS-controlled apps (including Netflix, Hulu Plus, Youtube and video purchased from Google Movies) are supported right now, along with support for streaming anything you can play in the Chrome browser on a PC/Mac. Full screen PC/Mac mirroring is in beta and does not play audio. Once Google opens up the API for more apps to use Chromecast, the value of this device will skyrocket.
