The chromecast is a great tool. I have a Logitech Google TV system as well. The chromecast is simpler and is better integrated with applications such as netflix, hulu plus etc. It was pretty easy to setup though I had a hard time at first getting it to connect over my Wifi. My wifi is kinda shotty so the chromecast can't be blamed. Once it connected, however, it hasn't had many problems. One thing I would wish... I would like to be able to view my chrome tabs on my tv when using a mobile device. This is only available if you are using a laptop.

I could easily give up cable or satellite TV for Chromecast. It is easy and inexpensive and gives me more that enough options to watch... Can cast from my laptop and Nook. I loved it so much that I have one on each of my TVs (because I can afford to buy them more than other options).

Great streaming device, easy set up, high quality streams, need more compatible apps, would be great to use Google chrome through iPhone/iPad.

It is an awesome device. Simple to install and use. Works with any TV that has HDMI. Even uses the TVs USB port for power. AWESOME.

Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it disconnects its-self from the internet often and I have to re set it up every time. Tho set up not real hard; its just a little inconvenient when you're set and ready to watch a movie from Netflix or something and you have to stop and reset Chrome up. Still, love love love this device and all the cool things you can see on your TV from your apps and phone. So much so that even with little inconvenience we bought 2 more for other TVs cause I got tired of moving it around the house haha

I love this, I already had the Amazon Stick. But I love this one even more. I can watch any movie I want or anything that is on my phone or tablet I can mirror on to my tv.

Very easy to set up, picture quality is excellent. Setting up wifi was very simple with I pad.

Cool device. Easy to setup. Good way to watch netflix and you tube on a TV. Wish there were more apps that used it and that there was a better way to stream computer media to it.

I planned to buy an Apple T.V. Another customer recommended this instead. It was a great purchase. You can't go wrong with the price. I'm not tech savvy and set up was a breeze.

The Chromecast was recommended by my daughter, so I could view videos from the internet on my larger screen TV. What a difference! It is so much fun to watch things now that I can see them on a larger screen. I liked mine so much, I bought one for my elderly parents as well!

Love it except for it having to be plug it in to the wall, would be nice if it was completely wireless. Over all I love it and works like a smart tv I no longer need my xbox or other gaming system to watch netflix and watch YouTube.

This device works fine for streaming applications. Would be nice if you could stream personal content. Mirror works if you would like to show a picture but not for mirroring videos.

I Purchased this for my bedroom and I understood that it didn't need a remote, however it didn't occur to me that I would need to download each app to my cellphone or iPad in order to use this- which is why I can't give it to my young son. I don't want an app for (abc, Hulu, etc...) on my cell. I have great vision, but found it frustrating to not be able to browse titles on my tv screen but had to use my iPhone screen instead. I also experienced flaws in the app integrating with my Netflix app. This is a great bargain if you often know exactly what you want to watch and you don't intend to use multiple apps, otherwise the Roku is user friendlier.

Bought this to stream online movies from my tablet to my big screen. So far seems to work ok. Streams Netflix and HBOgo really well. Initial set up was easy and was recognised right away. For the money I felt it was a pretty good value.

For just $35 this thing is fantastic, especially with the 3 months of free Netflix. It was very easy to setup, I completed the setup via my phone. You will need a device with wifi to configure it. I've only used it for Netflix and YouTube so far, you just browse through those apps on your phone, play one, and set the playback to be the ChromeCast. It will show up on your device was whatever you named it. Volume, play/pause, RW, FR are all controlled via your phone or tablet. Other devices connected to your network can also control the ChromeCast. However if device is currently connected to it, it doesn't allow another device to override it.

Was slightly confused by the instructions, but I figured it out in only a few minutes. Once it was up and running, I loved it!! Works from my laptop, my iPhone and my Amazon Kindle Fire to watch Netflix and Youtube on my flatscreen. They say they are adding more compatability for other apps soon---I hope they add the Kindle Prime video app as it is not yet compatible. On the downside, it did freeze up a few times when I paused the video and I needed to unplug the power cord to reset it. Other than that I love it.

This device turns any HDTV into a smart tv for far less than actually buying a smart tv. Recently it's been updated to support a slew of apps that cover just about every premium channel including encore and Starz. I've bought 3 and recommended 2 to my friends who also love it.

This was very easy to use. Bought it to watch Netflix and it was cheaper than buying a new smart tv with wifi built in. I would buy it again

Chromecast is really handy if you want to mirror you laptop to your TV or play videos from your mobile on the TV. Though in some cases the quality of the video will degrade than the original quality which is the only issue I found.
