Bought this for the kids room and was exactly what we expected. Nice that we can switch shows from another from for the youngest. Don't like that they don't show the cords involved and make it look sleek and compact.

It took a while to set up and I'm normally good at this type of thing. I am not a Google user, which makes all the difference since it is not very compatable on other search engines. Once I got it going it works smoothly.

I bought this mainly to get YouTube, which is not supported on my 2011 Sony TV anymore. It is great for that purpose. I use Netflix and other apps from my TV itself, so cant comment there. I think the cool screen savers this dongle provides are a neat plus.

I absolutely love the Chromecast. Took me a little while to set it up on all of my devices but once it was up and running, it was fantastic. I was streaming YouTube videos from my phone and whatever I had on my Chrome screen on my comp. Excellent device!!

A friend told me about it and I love using my laptop on my big screen TV. It is easy to setup and use. Stream videos with ease.

Chromecast has been great on vacation! I run it using my phone as a hotspot and it's come through like a champ. It's small for easy travel and easy to set up on any HDMI tv. It'll be a sad day when my unlimited data plan expires, but for now it's been a pleasure during those rainy beach evenings. Once Google releases it from beta there will be a surge of apps available from crafty people and media sites.

I like the idea that it converts my regular TV to a smart TV. I thought it would would better with Chrome and provide true screen mirroring on my tablet. I haven't tried it with the laptop yet. Need to do that.

This was exactly what I expected. I wanted to try streaming to my TV to see how it was and if it may work to eliminate cable. I didn't want to spend much money on this experiment so this was the cheapest option for streaming devices. It was very easy to set up and is just as easy to use. It doesn't offer many channels but I knew that when I bought it. After experimenting with this I bought a Roku for my main TV so I'd have more channel options, put this on my daughters TV and am getting ready to cut the cord with cable. Would buy another one for any TV where I mainly just wanted Netflix.

Great for on the go. Works really well and you can control multiple units with one phone.

I was a little skeptical about using streaming devices at first, but once I gave this little gadget a go, I have only enhanced my home theater experience. If you have a mobile device that have the apps that contain the google chromecast extension, this is simply a must have. It makes movie watching a breeze. Whenever I want to stream Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, or HBO Go, I simply turn on my phone, go to the app that I want to stream, select the extension and I'm watching on my big screen connected to 7.1 surround sound speakers. Set up was less than 5 mins. Only thing missing was popcorn.

Works well with you tube. I have slow internet (1.5mps) so I was skeptical at first thinking it would be buffering all the time, but I have found it to work just fine. Only wish there were more sites that you can cast from like NBC, CBS, & FOX to name a few.

Chromecast is the best $35 streaming device out there. It is very easy to setup took about 5 minutes tops. After sending what I want to stream from my phone tablet or computer it is on the screen in seconds. Will keep getting better as time goes on. Right now it only supports 6 apps Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, Chrome, Google play Video and Music.

Chromecast brings the smart TV experience to all. Let's face it, not all TV's are of equal intelligence. If you already own a dumb TV, fear not! Chromecast has arrived to save the day! With it's super powers, it provides artificial intelligence to mundane TV's giving your TV a boost of confidence and you an amazing viewing experience. If your TV is dumb, this is the product for you. You are welcome.

I was interested in the Chromecast since it's announcement and jumped at the chance to get one. $35 to stream Netflix, Youtube, Chrome browser plus audio and video from either my Tablet PC, Laptop or Android phone...um yes thank you. I knew going in that there would be very few supported features so I'm ok with that. At $35 can you complain?...well yes I suppose you can but whatever. I have used it in multiple locations so far but this one will find it's home in the kid's playroom. I will be able to start shows for the kiddos while in the next room, or the kitchen, or anywhere I pick up my home wifi.

Great product,especially for the low price. I bought two and set them up on 2 didn't tv's in my house. Easy to use with my phone and ipad. Recommend this product.

The first time I bought this I returned it because I couldn't get it to work with my router - even after talking to tech support. I thought the product was defective. It wasn't. I had the same problem when I ordered again then checked a Reddit forum. I had to update my router software. Google's Tech support was unaware of this fix and had told me my router wasn't comparable. Now that it works fine I'm satisfied. Look forward to when you can stream web browser from iPad. Right now can only do with desktops.

Google does it right when it comes to ChromeCast. Watch movies, view pictures, and so much more. I connected to things from my phone and instantly was watching those things on my TV. Great product.

I was very pleased with the simple set up and video quality when streaming. Very quick and easy to switch from playback on your phone/tablet to your TV screen.

Within 5 minutes it was setup (go to webpage or app). Within 10 minutes of getting it we had 5 different devices connected and casting to it (iphone, s2, HTC Dna, Chromebook Pixel, and Mac Mini). Everyone on the same network as the Chromecast can see it and control it (not just the person who started it). We took turns adding our next youtube clip, Google Play song, or Netflix show. Seemless integration between switching content from all different devices. This is a game changer and apps are stupid to not jump on this bandwagon. Thank you google for once again innovating at a LOW price point!
