It works. Setting up is pretty simple, but I really wish google will add Google Drive support to this thing. It feels like it's missing a huge part.

I am a middle-aged woman and not a high-tech person and I was able to plug this into my HDTV and set it up without having to call my 20-something son for help. I am using it with my samsung galaxy 8.0 tablet and have had no problems. I was afraid it would be too high tech for me to figure out without calling in a younger person for help...but I was able to do it all by myself. It was pretty easy. I also love that there isn't yet another set of wires sticking out of the back of the TV. Best of all, I bought it on Black Friday when it was on sale...

Good device out of the gate. Netflix and Youtube HD is awesome. Waiting for more compatibility with more services.

Chrome worked OK but I needed it to mirror the screen of my iPad for work. (To show slide show presentations) I initially went to Best buy to purchase the Apple connector that allows this... the best buy worker guaranteed chrome would do the same for cheaper but the only thing it plays are videos/movies ... Needless to say it cost me an additional trip to Best buy and wait in line to compete an exchange... If you're looking to stream things like Netflix or HBO go then this device is for you as long as you have a daily quick internet connection

I'm a huge fan of this product. It works amazing and anyone who has issues seems to usually be because of their internet speed as this works through wifi. Google keeps updating and seems to work with more and more product every day.

it's so simple and easy to install works very good but I wish he can work with other websites not just to YouTube

I purchased this product to stream videos from my laptop to my television and it only works with select applications. Not at all what I expected.

easy to program, if you connect to the USB of your television is a good way to save energy (so no need to get the device from the outlet when not in use)! I like that I can use with any of my devices, And Work music and videos App's

It does what it says it does. The only thing you should be concerned about is your own personal internet connection. You need to have a good connection in order to make this worth your while.

Had no problems installing app on my iPad. Delivers a great hi-definiton picture. Easy to use. Can't wait for more applications to be compatible.

I was looking for a way to make my bedroom TV a smart TV so I could hook up to Netflix. Great price, was on sale for $29.00 at Best Buy. Very easy to install. Loved it so much I bought another one for the living room. Ended up having problems after installation though. Went online to figure out if I had a router problem. The website said it would work with my Linksys WRT160N, but it was not consistent. Ended up buying a new router and things have been good so far.

The unit was very easy to install and I was able to get input from 4 different devices in a limited form. Getting unit to accept output from an internet connection requires Chrome be installed as an internet connection. Slowly other devices are being added. I thought I could just install it and get output from my I Pad need additions apps installed and am still having problems on some items. Unit gets a bit hot during use. Unplugging during non uses is a good idea.

It's a good product and good value for money spent. Here are some of my observations: Pros: Easy to use (almost a no-brainer to hook up) Download plugin for Chrome, configure in few minutes and it's a breeze Clarity, Resolution, etc. are good Cons: Lag in picture/video specifically when you compare between source (your ipad/tablet/phone) and TV Device (USB) gets heated up when cast for 2 hrs and it stops connecting (needs a re-cast from browser after a few minutes)

This is my second purchase of Chromecast after I gifted the first one to my father. He loved it and so do I. It turns your TV into a Smart 1 without shelling out $200 or more when buying a regular TV. Must have Add On for all.

Love how i can connect to any TV in the house and watch what i want. I have no complaints on the ChromeCast. The issue is with Iphone and Google but its understandable. Its worth your money !!

This is simply a great product. It changes the way you utilize all entertainment within your home. What's more, you can bring it with you on business trips, etc.you never have to "stick it out" without your favorite movies again.

I had hoped to be able to use my iPad to stream content to my TV. Unless there's some trick that I haven't learned yet, the iPad only serves as the controller for the limited number of apps that support Google Chromecast. I did install the Google Cast button on the Chrome browser, and that gives me the flexibility to stream content from my desktop. (I don't have a laptop.) But I have to run into my office to access the computer and initiate streaming the content.

Its pretty awesome to see things I am looking at on my phone on the tv. We can play games and watch apps and other interesting things. Not bad.

I purchased this primarily for the screen casting of my phone to my tv. It worked exactly as expected. It will also be great for travel use.

Bought this on a whim and am glad that I did. It sets up very simply. Picture quality is excellent too. After a week or so, I began to have problems with load times and pic quality. Turned out my router/modem was toast. Be sure you have quality Wi-Fi if you want this (or any other streamer, for that matter). It is worth the price but not much more. If they make it compatible with more apps and add features like screen mirroring it would be the bargain of the year!
