This device is small and easy to set-up. The price beats any other content thrower in the market. My TV is old and had only few HDMI inputs, so had to get a cheap HDMI hub/switcher. Once the device is setup in your home wireless network, you can start throwing content from your chrome browser using the button on your browser tab. The content will be displayed on your TV display and the audio will emit from your TV speakers. You can use this also to view webpages on TV. Currently 'Chromecast' is still under 'beta' and content is limited to Google Play Movies & TV ,Youtube and Netflix. Pandora is coming soon. I hope Google TV gets added soon.

So easy to set up, small and out of site and better price than any other similar products. If you want a smart tv without having to buy a whole new tv this is a great option.

Initial setup and my desktop said my wireless isn't on. Turned on my laptop and it set up with no problems. Immediately it also works on my desktop, my tablet and my phone. I can cast almost anything to to my TV and watch what I want. I have 2 of these now for different rooms.

This computer works right out of the box. There is no need to spend all day installing upgrades or programs like you would on a PC. The Mac even has software that will help you transfer everything over from your old PC. Overall, the MacBook pro is a great, dependable computer.

Easy setup, also got Google Play credit as part of promotion for buying. Novelty tech toy, not sure I have found a real reason to have it yet. We have XBOX also so don't really need the connectivity for things like NetFlix, etc.....

Bought this one for the bedroom TV after using one on the living room TV for over a year. It is great for streaming, but I wish it had more services that you could stream from. They keep adding more options, so it is getting better.

love my chromecast. Bought one for our bedroom so we could watch Netflix. The kids loved it so much. Got them both one for Xmas. Love how it turns your regular tv into a smart tv. Great upgrade for the time being :)

Setup: Easy installation using a laptop, takes just minutes. Did not work when trying to setup with my phone. Usability: Using your mobile phone as a remote you can stream movies, tv shows, youtube and music right to your TV. Also can stream any tab from your chrome browser to your TV. The only issue I had with music, it will not play music directly from your phone, it has to be in your google account online. Not a real problem as they allow you to upload 20,000 songs for free. Also quality is very good, seems to stream in 1080p for videos. I have used Netflix, Hulu, HBO go, youtube, rented movies from google, etc. All worked great.

My daughter set this up easily on our TV's. We both use our phones to watch moves and stream from U-tube and think this is awesome. Although we are not quite ready to give up cable we do like using our Chromecast to stream movies.

I'm still trying to learn all the ins and outs of my Chromecast, but it is fantastic for streaming things to my tv. I can watch YouTube with friends on my TV rather than being confined to my phone/computer. I really like casting ESPN and ABC to catch up on shows and sports.

I have cable downstairs but didn't want to pay extra for it in my bedroom. This works as an awesome alternative; We can stream Hulu or Netflix without any problems. Awesome for showing pictures on the tv vs having everyone gathered around a phone together. Great purchase!!

This is honestly the best $35 i've ever spent. This small little dongle turned my regular HDTV to a Smart HDTV. So easy to use. It's a must have for android and chromebook users, although it does have a wide range of functionality with iOS & any computer with google chrome.

This was by far the best purchase it makes it so easy to send things from my tablet or computer to tv and view on my television great. Easy to install step by step and just made my life eaiser netflix on there also and various other goodies if you dont have one get one quick

The Chromecast makes it easy to watch videos from your portable devices. I like to watch videos that I have on my laptop on the large screen TV using a Chrome App called Video Stream. It allows you to watch a video that you recorded or downloaded and cast it to the TV.

Great Hardware, App has a long way to go...Hardware was very easy to install. Just plug it in to HDMI port and do the setup. Chromecast App could be way, way better......would not stream a lot of my video from the Chrome browser......

It does what it's advertised to do, with just a few quirks. I've had the device totally drop it's connection with my phone. The guest feature doesn't always work. That said, for the price I can deal with the occasionally issue.

Great value and easily installs on any TV. Works well, loads apps quickly giving you access to numerous choices. The only criticism I would have is that it has a bit of a learning curve (as would any device). I am a bit slow learning the technological verbiage particular to this device and so far easy access to a sensible "Help" menu has not been easily to find. I may like this better when I have logged in more hours of use. 7.5 out of 10. Amazon now offers a similiar system with it's own remote that has gotten good reviews.

It's a great product overall, especially for the price, but it only streams a few things like Netflix, Hulu and Youtube. I'm hoping they'll expand its abilities or open it up for devs to expand it soon. Seems like a great way to play games if they opened it up. It does a good job at streaming the movies and videos that I've tried though. No lags or lockups. It's great to be able to stream a quick video from my phone to the TV instead of gathering around a 5 inch screen when the kids want to see a funny video or something I've found online.

The Chromecast product is very easy to connect, initialize and use. We had it up and running in minutes. Once installed it works flawlessly and its easy to cash Netflix and other videos. We like the product so much that we actually bought a second one for another TV.

Good product, does what it's supposed to, easy to install. I took off one star because for some reason after I use it and then turn off the TV, then my TV turns back on again, but it's no big problem... just getting used to.
