My BF and I purchased this for our bedroom so he's the one in control of it most of the time. He's Android I'm Apple. He controls it from his tablet and we get to enjoy our shows on the big screen. overall good price and works well. Strong internet connection helps.

This thing is easy to use and works great! BUT if you use an open network I wouldn't recommend buying this since there is no way to prevent other people on the network from casting whatever they want to your chromecast.

Set up was simple. I installed the app and set up my chromecast in a few minutes. I didn't know all the new features that were added since it first came out. I played around with mirroring my PC's screen and will definitely be thinking about canceling cable now.

Setup was a snap...even a caveman could do it! Takes a little getting used to...mainly because you forget that you have this option know to switch your input and look at your phone,tablet or laptop with a click or touch.

Easy to set up, works great. Makes casting from my tablet a snap. Now I use my tablet to do everything to control my TV, cable box and cast what I want onto my TV...

This was an easy install! Adapting the application to my cell phone was very easy to understand and use. Chrome cast was origjnally a way to save money. Now it has become a daily source of entertainment.

Really like the Chromecast and how easy it is to connect to devices. My only complaint is I wish more apps would connect to it. I know there are tons already but wish more of the sports-streaming apps would allow access.

Great for watching movies, videos or clips from phone, tablet or computer! Not having a remote is kind of a let down even though it can be controlled from devices mentioned above. I like it an d it's great for the price. If only my Internet speeds were strong enough!!!!!

I love that I can watch movies on my television that I play on my laptop and it is a big improvement from being attached by a short cable. The only thing I had to do to be able to use Chromecast was download Google Chrome.

Initially, I went to the store to find out more information about the Roku Streaming Player. The showed me the Chromecast and compared the two. I am so glad I purchased the Chromecast. It was inexpensive, compact/doesn't take up any space, and works really well!

If you need to connect your phone or tablet or laptop wirelessly to the TV to stream or watch something, it works very well. I tried to see photos, or other apps, but that didn't work. Hence the use is a bit limited

There are constantly new apps that support Chromecast everyday and the picture quality keeps getting better. With screen mirroring being supported on some android phones it's a steal. Great for gifts too!!

I love this ChromeCast. I use it to stream music to my tv into my entertainment system from my phone. I also stream ABC Mouse to the big screen for my 4 yr old son & he loves it cause he is always on the tablet. great for family get together's, too. I love it

I am not electronics savy but with the help of my children set this up on a tv that still works on rabbit ears. It's nice to have easy access to shows other than the standard channels without using an internet connection.

I bought a second chrome cast to use with my samsung tablet my wife bought me for fathers day. we have a tv out on our sunporch and we love to use it. i now can stream to our living room and our sunroom. setup was simple and wasy and took less than 10 minutes.

I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an easy way to cast videos and photos to the tv. Plus you can always take advantage of the offfers given by Google for owning a Chromecast.

I bought a smart tv that comes with lot of apps but still casting wasn't smooth and it's hard if I want to cast from my mobile or tablets but chromecast works like a charm, and it's very easy for my guests too if they want to cast something from their devices.

Plug and play, it couldn't be easier than Google's Chromecast. If you ever thought it'd be nice to watch Internet videos on your TV, you'll be blown away. It's not nice, it's amazing. We host YouTube parties where we have friends add their favorite videos to a shared account and then just queue the whole favorites list up for the night. It's also great for co-working days and presentations for work. Only issue we've had is that interfacing between TV and smartphone can lag a little, and if you're accessing with multiple devices it can get confused, so it's best to just use one person as the controller.

We bought one of these and it went bad after a couple of weeks. We were able to exchange it and the next one worked great and is still working. Easy to use, but I wish it had a remote or something like the Roku stick.

Installation on TV was pretty simple. Had a little bit of a hard time getting phone to hook up. Laptop was also a little bit of a problem but was able to get it working. Liked it enough to buy another one for my parents!
