We have watched a few movies rented and bought at the Google play store and they play fantastic on are TV. You are not wasting your time with this purchase!!!!!!!!!

This thing is pretty awesome. I have many streaming devices but none of them allow me to stream from my tablet to my tv. Still getting used to it. It comes in handy and we've taken it with us and hooked up anywhere.

This is a great addition to my tablets and smart phones. I love being able to stream from my devices on any tv. I also travel with it and hook it up to whatever wireless network I can connect to. I actually own 2 of them.

Easy to set up. Looks good on my HDTV. Media Player is a very cool device. I had it up and running in a matter of minutes. It's very compact and easy to use. I like using my Android Smart Phone as a remote control. The quality also looks good on my HDTV. I wish that I could see everything that is on my Smart Phone, but this is basically just a Google device.

Ever since i got the chromecast i always have my family sit in the living room and have a movie night, i also share pictures and videos i have on my phone or tablet

The Chromecast is very simple, and inexpensive. It is excellent for streaming from your cellphone/tablet to a big screen. You can also setup guest mode so guests can do the same at a party. For instance, if a friend has a play list they want to share. The biggest downside is the need for an accesible wifi network. That means, when I travel i must also take a $20 mini wifi router with me in order to setup and use the Chromecast in hotels. Even then, many hotels disable the HDMI ports on their TVs, forcing you to use their system - ugh. For home use it is excellent. If you have a TV hanging from the wall, this will tuck neatly behind it.

The first one I bought was defective and wouldn't work so I had to return it for an exchange. The replacement worked great and was set up in minutes. Really enjoy how this works.

This device has proven effective and displays the same qualifications as a smart tv. In addition, it is less expensive which is a plus for my budget! It is also very easy to set up for someone who is not tech savvy.

Just plug in and enjoy streaming! Sometimes it loses signal, but I don't have the best internet service & speed. It's so simple and the most cost effective streaming device.

Wow, where to begin. Since I've purchased the Google Chromcast, I've been viewing all my shows using it. Being able to view my shows on the go with use of this device instead of running it on my phone is great.

I returned the Chromecast for the Fire Stick only because I am an Amazon Prime member. I actually believe the Chromecast is a better product if you do not use Amazon Prime.

Chromecast is a neat wifi dongle that plugs into your TV's HDMI port. You can then stream to it from your wireless laptop or mobile device. Works with Windows XP, but the initial setup ( registering with your wi-fi network etc ) cannot be done from an XP device - you can use a smart phone or other device to set it up - this doesn't have to be the device you plan on using Main negative is more to do with the state of the software - e.g. you can't play a DVD in your laptop and send it to the TV , or reliably stream your whole screen ( in beta - works partially) - hopefully these will improve with time. Great value for the money.

Moden was easy to set up. Nice small size for desktop use. Blue indicator lights too bright and data light rapid flashing is annoying.

Only thing I was disappointed by is it doesn't work that well with Apple services and not at all with things like FaceTime. But it is a Google product, so I have to expect that.

I bought this little device to use with my Sony Bravia TV simply because I wanted an easier way to share things from my phone. I love that I can send over a YouTube video or display photos for friends and family to view rather than crowd around my phone. I do like that they are adding even more apps that support sending to Chromecast. I do wish for some more interactive with friends apps/features but otherwise I am happy. It is super simple to set up and an have other join. Plus you can't beat the price.

Chromecast is a very easy to use for online streaming of videos and music to our TV. We were also able to connect our iPhone, iPAD and Google NEXUS phone via Chromecast to watch our personlal photos and videos on TV too.

Unit was easy to set up. Once i plugged it in, I went to google play store. Downloaded the software and was up and running in a short time. Now have the software loaded on cell phone, tablet and desktop. Works great

Best way to make a dumb TV, smart at a low Cost, this stick is amazing, I send every type of media to it and it just pops up on the TV, and its only $35 thats a steal I'm going to buy them for my familt as gifts.

Very easy to use. We got it to play Pandora thru the TV and surround sound system. We haven't tried other things we can do with it yet but I'm sure it will be just as easy use.

My family loves this product now they can stream shows that they never had on a regular TV, its great for family entertainment
