Works great with Youtube TV and I am very satisfied with the video quality.

I upgraded from the 2nd gen Chromecast (without 4K) and this Ultra works a lot better. This is probably due to the feature of having the ability to plug in an ethernet cable!!! Fast and smooth casting and very CLEAR!

I could not believe how simple and quick ordering online was! I ordered what I wanted from Best Buy and would have been able to pick it up the same night. I went the next day with no waiting in line, etc. I will do a bunch of my shopping for Best Buy online from now on before going to the store.

The chromecast is very easy to install behind your tv or home theater (I did both). I can stream directly from my computer or my mobile device directly to my (non smart) home theater. A great purchase for a small price.

This device works perfectly when I want to cast anything from my phone to my tv. The only problem is, if you don't have a fast WiFi connection (we're at about 15mbps on WiFi), then sometimes it can struggle pretty bad to buffer videos, and a lot of times will completely freeze. If you have a fast WiFi connection, this works perfectly, and has no issues.

The fact this device accepts an Ethernet cable makes all the difference.

I love the Chrome Cast, I can watching pass shows from my computer to my TV from ABC. All I had to do was plug chromecast in to the HDMI port on my TV and open up Chrome. run google app for chrome for the PC and I can watch anything on my computer on the TV, I also use my Android tablet to cast to my TV. It is a great product that I highly recommend to everyone.

The only downside is YouTube only produces stereo audio so if that’s a deal breaker, then please avoid.

The Google Chromecast seems to me to be the easiest and least expensive way to get into casting and streaming. The low cost doesn't mean "cheap", the device is technically up-to-date with plenty of memory. It does everything it says it will do and does it flawlessly. I've used it intensively---mainly with Netflix---without a single problem. Pros: (1) It is inexpensive and simple to install; (2) TV connects dependably to the Google Home app, which is also easily downloaded; (3) Zero tech problems so far, great picture on my 50" TV, no buffering or any play interruptions or glitches whatsoever. Cons: (1) Remember, it doesn't come with a remote but that is a trivial concern because play control is via your iOS or Android device; (2) Keep in mind that Play controls are limited to play/pause and quick 30-second jump rewind---no fast-forward or full rewind. I use my regular TV remote to control volume. I recommend Chromecast without any reservations, it is a bargain and works like a charm. Thanks for considering my comments.

I have a 4K tv at home and I wanted a compatible device to plug in so I can cast from my devices to the tv. The setup was simple and easy and the device has been working great! I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Works as designed.UHD casting for reasonable price. Video quality is excellent and response is good.

Purchased this product Nov 2019. Easy to install and works great! Love that it is compatible with my Google Home products and my phone. Reasonably priced. I did purchase it when it was on sale.

If you share a TV with family members who are too young to have their own phone--I feel this isn't as good as a Roku or Fire that come with a remote (for everyone to use). However--a TV in a study or other room that is only controlled by folks with a phone app to use as a remote--it's super nice. You won't have to keep up with a remote to stream your favorite videos...it's all done with your phone over your home wi-fi. If you have them in more than one room--make sure you "name" the TV or room so you aren't accidentally controlling a TV in another room that someone else might be watching. The streaming quality is very nice ( we aren't using 4k, but if we upgrade the TV later, we don't have to upgrade the Chromecast.

This works great on my Samsung tv. I would definitely recommend it.
