I just purchased a 4K TV and needed a 4K streaming device. This unit works fine.

It's a Chromecast. Does what it says on the tin. It's a smart TV device that let's you "cast" content from your app to the TV but your phone doesn't do the heavy lifting of loading the content, the Chromecast does which is understandable. Have a nice day! It's WAY too expensive for the uptick in resolution and color output. The Chromecast with Google TV is much better value than this. The only reason to get it now is because of Stadia functionality which is already in the Chromecast with Google TV as of Fall 2021.

You do need to use the app wireless to get the system working. So if you don't have wireless this will not work for you. But I wired it and have a wireless router so this was so easy. It is probably saving my marriage as my wife can workout downstairs before work and I can watch TV. Before this we had to share the same set.

Inexpensive. Easier to set up. Works as advertised.

I really love my Chromecast, it is totally awesome. I bought one about a year ago, fell in love with it, and got a second one for my birthday. Good value, excellent product. If you don't have one, go get one!

I had this set this up in a couple of minutes. I use a LAN cable to connect the router and the device, makes it a lot easier. It works on my android devises and iPad. Turns any TV into a smart TV. Worth every cent.

I needed two more for March Madness. Setup 3 flat screens on different channels--the only way to go. My first chromecast purchased over 3 years ago, still working, still love it. Atta-boy chromecast!

This was the best suggestion my friend could have made. No one was suggesting this everybody was telling us we had to upgrade our cable which would have costed us a fortune and had a sign on for 2 years it was ridiculous when all we had to do was buy this and it works perfect. I had no idea this even existed it works amazingly well for Netflix and an accident I used it for YouTube and was shocked at how well it worked. I got the updated version and have had zero trouble. I highly recommend doing this over anything else don't upgrade your cable don't listen to people that say you have to get a newer TV or expensive phone this should work perfect for you.

I got this chromecast as an add on in an antenna package. It was a very nice suprise. Was easy to instal and very little set up. Works great from a tablet or a phone to stream video. We use it for netflix, hulu, and a the pbs app. Works great with them.
