Easy to use, and I connected with my smart TV 4K. I can watch with a large TV screen and I can use my PC or iPhone with other pages open. Apple TV, I cannot view other pages with the same computer

The Chromecast works very well. I did not install directly to my TV's HDMI port which is in the instructions. Instead I connected it to an HDMI port on my receiver. This allows me to select my devices without having to change my settings on my Harmony remote. I use the Chromecast primarily to view YouTubeTv on my TV. I also use it to stream from my phone other apps such as Amazon Prime Music. I was pleasantly surprised that once I started viewing YouTubeTv I could turn my phone off and still watch an entire night without my phone even being on. I am assuming that YouTubeTv is a built in function on the Chromecast that only needs the phone to start playing. The phone is still needed as a "remote" to change programs but once selected you don't need the phone anymore. The install process on Android is simple. All you need to do is install / update the Google Home app. Once done you don't need to even access it. Google Home will automatically put an icon into any app that supports Chromecast and when you press that icon, the app will stream to your TV. Simple enough. I bought the Chromecast Ultra that supports 4K but the original Chromecast will work as well. I didn't mind paying the extra 35 dollars.

The Chromecast Ultra is an incredibly useful device that brings smart features to any television with an HDMI input. It is fast and easy to use and it has great picture quality.

I bought this for my 55" 4K smart TV and didn't disappoint! Easy to use and fast connection. I have broadcasted from phone, tablet and pc and it's reliable and in HD as promised. Of course you pay a little more than the regular chromecast but it delivers in terms of definition, so if you can add a few bucks more, at the end is worth every penny.

We wanted a solution to having Disney+ on an older Samsung TV. After toying with a few ideas, we came across the Chromecast Ultra 4K. Works perfectly! The higher price for the Ultra 4K is worth it in picture quality. Casting is fluid, no hiccups. Installation was easy. This definitely adds new life to an older TV. Would highly recommend.

I have gotten more use out of this Chromecast than I expected. It supports Netflix in 4K with HDR10 and Dolby Vision, and it is very easy to cast from your mobile device. I find casting more reliable than AirPlay. The functionality of this device can already be accomplished with other devices I own (the TV’s own apps or Apple TV), but casting is so much easier because you control it from you mobile device or computer.

I have a smart tv, but I do love having the chromecast. I am able to easily plug and use. Great for beginners. I love being able to cast from my phone or computer.

The chrome cast Ultra is ultra fast with stunning picture, amazing clarity and color. Fast performance and minimal buffering makes for an awesome product!

Just plug it in, connect with phone and boom...you're done. Great device, haven't tried the 4K yet but will soon...transparent addition to the house.

I purchased this to replace/upgrade my Chromecast (Original) to be able to stream Sling (more specifically NHL Network). When I tried to stream the first game I tried on the older version Chromecast was choppy and was so bad, I went up to Best Buy to pick this up so I could continue watching the game. When I returned home, plugged this one in, configured it with my network and relaunched the game, the streaming immediately worked. So much better that I almost went back to get another one to use at my Dad's for when we watch the games at his house.

This is a fun little device. It streams from my phone to my TV without losing quality and I can still use the phone while casting. Lots of fun!

Great alternative to expensive cable TV. Easy set-up even if you do not have a smart TV, including streaming and connecting to mobile devises.

Love this Chromecast Ultra. Doesn't always play nicely with my Samsung Note8, but when I was using my Pixel 2 XL it was flawless. Just wish it would support Prime video from amazon, but I totally understand. No points taken away for that. It's super easy to use and the 4k resolution is absolutely beautiful.

Chromecast Ultra is so much better than the earlier iterations. Perfect for my 4k viewing and works flawlessly with my IPhone7. I use it a lot to watch Youtube TV, Netflix and Youtube and it works like a charm. The performance is excellent and never really i had any disconnections. 4k quality is great and setup is super easy. Would highly recommend.

Overall, this is my my favorite streaming device for its relatively affordable price tag and ease of setup and use. Especially when you're familiar with Google Home app (for both iOS and Android devices), setup and customize it is a breeze. Casting/streaming content from connected devices is a kid's job. Having all that positive feedback, I must also say that sometimes it just disconnect itself from my network for no reason. While I thought it was due to my network, but other devices in my house were connecting just fine. Even though set it up again is pretty easy, but it's just annoying when that happens.

Chromecast its just getting better even though not so compact compare to previous gen streaming is fast great for 4k must have

Use these in multiple rooms w/ TVs to scroll google slide presentations and stream internet TV. Easy to use and great quality.

Videos streams faster and with good quality compared to inbuilt apps of any smart TV and the sound quality is better too
