Ive never owned a chrome cast or anything similar to one. It's cool how you can just connect it quick to ur t.v. I have a smart t.v but every time I connect my phone to the t.v I have to sign in to the app first, so this chromecast makes it much easier for me.

Newest model is a little overpriced but excellent picture. Being able to stream 4k content is becoming more popular but you could opt for the original Chromecast if you don't want to spend extra and don't have a 4k tv. Setup was easy and we have had no complaints so far.

I have a LG tv purchased in 2018 60 inches, problem did not have casting ability. I thought with all the new app featuring easy cast I needed a new TV. I went on the internet and Google how to make my TV have casting abilities, and it came back with the Google Chrome 4K streaming media player. I purchased the unit and turn my tv into a modern day tv. Love this product, save me so much money. I steaming everything with such ease. If you don’t have one, please get on.

While spend a ton of money on smart internet television set when you can get the dumb ones for less than half and make it smart with this device for next to nothing. Did I mention that it is 4K too? Video quality is second to none, Google out-did itself on this device. I love and enjoy it. Also, it can be voice controlled with Google Assistant. This is a no-brainer and I have pretty much converted all the dumb TV sets in my house to smart internet TV with this device. It is a great buy and I completely recommend it without reservation.

I love that you can browse and stream to the tv very easily. I use my phone and my Google Home Mini. Works great for Spotify and Netflix when I'm talking to my Google Home Mini. I say play this playlist on tv and it does it! Plus the 4k is great ;)

streams seamlessly in 4k, great picture and plenty of features! could be a little cheaper, 60 is a little expensive i think knocking 10 dollars off would increase value

I have a fire stick but needed to be able to watch the Pac-12 network in HD as xfinity only broadcasts it in SD. This was an option along with sling tv. Picture is good but it does buffer at times and not sure if my wireless network or the device.

I can't say enough how great this works!!! I got it specifically to use for the YouTube TV service. It works so well that I dumped Directv and now it is my only source for TV services. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to cast to your TV.

I've been a Chromecast user for 3+ years. I finally got a 4K TV, thought I should upgrade to an Ultra. The difference is surreal. If you want the most out of your 4K TV, do me a favor and get the Chromecast Ultra. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this device for a friend of mine who has a "dumb TV." It's dead easy to plug it in to a TV's HDMI port and set up with the Google Home app. (It helps if someone is a little technical or not put off by such tasks). I set it up with a fun name so that it would be easy to find. Then, I taught my friend how to watch videos on YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc., and cast them to the TV easily. I also showed him how some music apps (like Google Play Music and iHeartRadio) can cast to the device, too. Now, it's easy to hang out at home and watch whatever we want when there's "nothing good on TV." Now there's always something good on TV! I chose this device for my friend rather than an Apple TV or a Roku box because he doesn't engage with media on his TV very much. Plus, it's easy for me to cast content to the TV when I visit.

Way better over the standard Chromecast. Works seamlessly. Easy setup and 4k quality where possible. Can control it from various devices which is the best thing. I have it integrated with google home so I can control my tv with my voice.

This is a great working chromecast and makes a nice upgrade for those with 4k HDR tvs. HDR works correctly and ethernet is a nice addition. The only big downside is this requires a wall plug for power and can't run off of the TV's USB ports. If it wasn't for that it would be five stars.

The Google Chromecast is solid, works as advertised. The setup of this product was simple. I was able to cast from Android phone within 5 or 10 minutes. The device has worked great with a Windows 10 laptop as well. Nice additional feature is the Ethernet port built-in the power adapter.

Best casting device on the market. Allows you to cast in 4k from a computer, tablet, or phone. There are apps such as Netflix with Chromecast built in, but you can also just simply cast your entire computer desktop onto your TV.

I've had chromecast 2nd gen model prior to this, Glad I upgraded to the ultra model. Casting is much faster now and its a plus if you own a 4K or above TV models. The clarity & video rendering is definitely better.

Nice 4k streaming device for my LG 4k TV. Picture quality was good and Wi-Fi was pretty fast. Screen mirroring was not working, but google fixed that with a software update

I'm already a Chromecast fan (this is my 3rd), and the Ultra does not disappoint. For the way I operate, the Chromecast is the easiest way to get things on to the bigger screen even though I am an iOS user. Most of the apps I want to cast are supported. I also appreciate that others can use Chromecast from their own devices, which is especially handy for guests. I was pleased to discover that there is a lot of excellent 4K content on YouTube, and the Ultra plays it beautifully.

In becoming a user of Google home, you need this product to close the gap of entertainment it can provide. It is pretty exciting to tell Google to show me a video and have it turn on the TV and start playing. Pretty cool.

YouTube TV recently became available. I pulled out my old original chromecast. While it worked, it was very slow to connect. This one is fast to connect and the picture is great. I'm using it with the ESPN app now as well.

I had an original Chromecast that I was replacing with the new Ultra. I am impressed with the video and audio performance of the 4k streaming on the new device. 4k HDR looks AMAZING!!! Well worth the money for the upgrade.
