The Fitbit air is perfect for that person that doesn’t want to wear a fitness watch. You forget your wearing it and you get all the data you want. The battery life is outstanding, it is exactly what I was looking for!

It is small, light and measures a lot. Still working on checking everything. I like the rubber band that I got for the gym. Like the charger work.

It is amazing how much functions you can fit in just 12 grams of technology. I like how this tracker is very minimalist without sacrificing important features (that are supposed to be in every tracker). With a long battery life and the capability to record a week health data, this tracker is mostly what you need to keep on track with your health and activities. It is a screenless device. All interactions are going through your phone app. That's a positive and negative thing in the same time. Away from all the disturbing that a smartwatch can cause, this one is just recording data in silent. And it is doing it very well. All in just 12 grams added to your wrist. The Fitbit Air is only complete when connected to the Google Health app and Gemini AI coach. For the price that the Fitbit Air is listed for and the perks that come with, the price is very justifiable and competitive. It is very fair to say that the app is making more than 50% of the Fitbit Air usability. It gets you on a new level of experience tracking and understanding what is going on. Unlike the common trackers, the AI agent is getting in depth with your activities and recorded data. It explains things and comments on others. It is just like having a real human coach that is following you. As example, I've done a gym activity that the Fitbit Air didn't detect. Later in the evening, I mentioned that to the AI coach. It asked me about the approximate time and then from the recorded data, it was able to pull the real activity time and log it properly. Unlike the full (with screen) devices, for this Fitbit Air, you need to start your activity (often) manually from the phone (using the phone's screen). You need the phone to also check on your progress (while exercising). Heart rate is well monitored. AI is also providing a deep insight about your heart rate variation and resting. It gives you a detailed report about your readiness and what you are doing right vs. wrong. I love that. That's what a common (more expensive tracker) are failing badly. I am comparing the Fitbit Air with my daily, different brand, smart watch. There are a lot of positive things to mention like: - Sleeping and sleep tracking: The fitbit air is very discreet. Very comfortable to wear for the night sleep. It tracks the sleep better and even capable of capturing the short naps during the day. Where the other one fails. I love the smart wake feature. The silent alarm feature is very nice. Also to set up from the phone app only. - Long lasting battery: I didn't charge it for over 5 days and still showing 45% battery. The charging time is slow but ok! Google claims 0-100% in about 90 minutes. I am charging it whenever I am not wearing it just to not make it take longer time charging. It feels like a 5min charge would cover your full day activities. Also to mention, the Fitbit Air uses a symmetrical magnetic charging cable. You don't have to worry about polarity or certain orientation. - The price and subscription cost: I've briefly covered that. With all the benefits you get, that's a good deal! There are actually 2 things that I don't like about this Fitbit Air: - Lack of built-in GPS: Well, maybe for that price and weight the GPS integration is impossible. I can still use my phone's GPS to track my movements... Only through the phone. - Heart rate monitoring glitches sometimes: I noticed when lifting weights that the tracked heart rate gets a bit off for short duration. loosening the strap fixed that problem but it makes it very loose when not lifting. That's something I noticed. Currently, accessories for this Fitbit Air (aftermarket ones also) are very expensive. The loop band provided with it is fine. Very lightweight and adjustable. A little on the easy side for the quality in general. I will mostly upgrade to the Active Band as it is sweat-proof. Overall, the Loop Band would do just fine for most people. If you want a highly capable fitness tracker but hate the idea of wearing a fragile, expensive, screen-heavy smartwatch, I strongly recommend the Fitbit Air. Checking my deep sleep reports every morning has become my favorite routine, and I love not having to worry about a bulky screen on my wrist. -

I have not used a Fitbit before so this was fun trying this device out. Mine is labeled as lavender but it looks light blue to me which I like. It came in a nice easy to open box with instructions. I downloaded the app and charged the device. So far, it has kept the charge for several days so you don’t need to constantly charge this device. I am wearing it on my right wrist since I sometimes wear a watch or smart watch on my left wrist. I did not connect to the trial of coaching and at this time and I am reluctant to share my health data with the company. So far, I like this device. It keeps track of my steps in a passive way so I don’t need to engage it to record. The app also keeps track of my heart rate. It records my sleep which I really like. This strap doesn’t bother my wrist since I haven’t liked sleeping with heavier smart watches. The device is not waterproof but apparently is water resistant. The band is a soft material with a velcro strap and I don’t even feel it on my wrist. I would worry about it getting dirty when gardening or doing pottery but it is washable if the device is removed. The app is very comprehensive with any data points. There is a fitness section where you can enter your activity for recording while you do that activity. There is a workout library with short videos with instructors demonstrating how to do the activity. I can’t even list all of the many sections of this app. For the price, this is an excellent product.

The age of removing distractions and simplifying our digital lives are up on us and the Google Fitbit Air is front and center of that movement. Harkening back to the early days of fitness trackers it ditches the screen and notifications to focus on one thing and one thing only, Health; both physical and mental. Sticking to the basics is what this is all about and it does that well. Focusing on exercise activity, sleep wellness, heart rate, Sp02 (blood oxygen level), and skin temp seems to be fairly accurate. I always think there is some margin for error, but not as bad as my past Samsung smartwatches. The included arm band Google calls Performance as it is very breathable, made from recycled materials and offers a velcro like closure system to get the best fit for your wrist. There are 2 other band styles sold separately, Active and Elevated. The Active is a traditional watch band style made of silicone with a sport clasp. The Elevated mimics the Performance design but swaps the build material for silicone and different color clasps. It also appears to be micro-adjustable as the clasp is magnetic. The Performance and Elevated are both one size fits all (130mm-210mm) and the Active band has two options for size. After using a traditional smartwatch for some years now and dabbling with a smartring, I can honestly I say I prefer the activity tracker to the smartring. I’m on the fence about leaving my smartwatch features as they are step removed from pulling out the phone for some basic things ( I still have my original calculator watch!). The battery life alone could convert me at 8 days of usage it is at 49%, so a solid 2 weeks is to be expected with normal wearing and with regular health activity I would say Google’s estimate of charging weekly should be accurate. While airport hopping across the globe does give you some good step counting, its not the same as good high bpm activity. Already having the Pixel 9 Pro, the device was paired fairly quickly and up and running out of the box after going through all the Health App permissions. I can highly recommend it if you are in the market for a simple fitness tracker from a USA brand.

I have been using this Fitbit for about four weeks now, and I have been really happy with it so far. I wear it all the time because it has become such an easy way to keep track of my activity, sleep, and overall health in one place. It has been especially helpful with exercising and tracking my daily steps. Seeing my step count throughout the day motivates me to move more, go on walks, and stay consistent with my activity. I like being able to look in the app and see how active I have been instead of guessing. It also tracks my heart rate, which is helpful to keep an eye on during the day and while exercising. One of my favorite features is the sleep tracking. It shows how long I slept and helps me see my sleep patterns in the app. Since I wear it overnight, I can check how much sleep I actually got instead of just estimating. That has been very helpful for me because sleep is such an important part of feeling good and staying healthy. The app is also easy to use and has a lot of useful features. You can log what you are eating, track your activity, see your heart rate, review your sleep, and look at everything together in one place. It gives you the information you need to keep up with your health and make sure you are staying on track. Another thing I really like is that it does not take long to charge at all. From what I have noticed, it only takes around an hour to fully charge, which is great because I wear it so often. I do not have to leave it off for a long time or wait all day for it to charge. Overall, I think this Fitbit is a great fitness tracker. It has been helping me track my steps, exercise, heart rate, sleep, and eating habits for the past few weeks. It is comfortable enough to wear all the time, charges quickly, and gives me a lot of helpful information in the app. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an easy way to stay more aware of their activity, sleep, and health.

Just switch to Fit Air from Whoop, loving new band. Comfortable and effective. I highly recommend the switch.

​If you hate the bulk of smartwatches, don't want another screen buzzing on your wrist, and want deep insights into your sleep and daily recovery without a forced monthly fee, the Fitbit Air is an absolute steal at $99, I wish it had a better battery tho, they claim 7-8 days, I'm getting 4-5 days.

If you need a very basic fitness tracker, then this one is going to be great for you. Slim, low profile, comfortable to wear. Looks very cheap. All would be fine, but the app is not great (yet). I know it will become better in the future, but today, it is mostly a basic tracker

I like this very much way better than other tracking devices. Like the way it tracks the sleep, steps and calorie count.

I bought this product because I tried the whoop and I hated how bulky it felt, it never felt comfortable sleeping with it. This product felt perfect on my wrist. Light and durable. I will say, throwing the band in the washing machine was the best way to get it clean and not smelling. My biggest issue and main reason I plan to return it is the Google health app. I absolutely hate it. I used to have a Fitbit back when it was independent and that app was way more efficient and intuitive. The app doesn’t help you connect with friends as easily and compare stats. The AI feature is okay but you also have to pay a lot of the premium subscription in order to use it.

Love the screenless design and it works fine on displaying all health metrics in google app

For those of us who think all Smartwatches under $1500 are ugly (and don’t want to spend that much on a smartwatch), who don’t want our wrists to be yet another distraction, who don’t want a ring that looks like cheap jewelry, or don’t want to spend a monthly fee to access our own data, the solution has arrived. With the Air, Fitbit resurrects the concept of the original Fitbit Flex (2013) in a contemporary package and delivers a device that is non-intrusive, simple to use, and very useful. As you probably could tell, I’m not a fan of the everyday smartwatch. But, I have a current need to track certain health parameters, like activity and sleep. The Air delivers the basics I need plus additional statistics and AI-powered coaching I don’t really need, but have found useful, and it delivers the basics without a monthly fee. The Air is a small, narrow band that houses a smaller sensor. It is barely noticeable on the wrist, and make it easy to wear a standard watch on the other wrist without looking nerdy. The contact charger is proprietary rather than Qi compatible. It works well, charges quickly, and a charge lasts me six to seven days. I have found the Fitbit Air to be a comfortable and simple device that delivers the data I need without fuss or ongoing costs. I would highly recommend this if you want something that doesn’t demand your attention or wallet.

Talk about a big problem – you can’t have a Fitbit Air and a ‘regular Fitbit’ with screen in the app at the same time. It should have been easy to allow you to switch between them – for me this is a very bad design point. Now to update the firmware, one Fitbit must deleted and the other Fitbit then attached. So if you like to use one in the gym and the other for nighttime, you must keep swapping them up in the app. Also since the Google Pixel phone will aggregate data with the Fitbit Air, it seems a big oversight not to also allow this same ability with for example a Fitbit Inspire which I have. I do like the comfortable band on the Fitbit Air. You can switch bands using a very clever design which easily pops the Fitbit Air out of the old band so you can insert it simply into the new band. The way the band attaches to your wrist is also very well designed to make it simple to quickly get the exact right firmness on your wrist. You can utilize personalized coaching with a premium membership but this has a monthly cost. Battery life is indeed fantastic, and I tested this. It said double tap to see battery status and gave meanings for white, blinking red or solid red. You want to see white. This is a very useful deesign point so you can always easily check the battery level right from your wrist. Analysis of sleep patterns is a very useful function. I am trying this, but it will take time before I can assess the impacts; however I have found the initial information very helpful already. All in all it is an excellent tracker and I would recommend it. However, I took one star off since the app could be designed a lot better to allow you to switch between Fitbits and keep data combined or separate per the user option.

I’ve been using the Google Fitbit Air, mine is the lavender one, for about a week now, and honestly it surprised me in a good way. The lavender color is really nice in person, kind of soft and not too flashy. I chose it because it’s my favorite color and it goes with pretty much anything. Right away I noticed how small the tracker is that sits inside the band. Setup was super easy. I downloaded the Google Health app, made sure bluetooth is on, and it connected to my phone within seconds. So far no weird pairing issues. From there everything pretty much runs itself. Since there’s no screen, no need to mess around with settings on the band and everything is controlled from the app. My favorite part is the weight. It’s very lightweight that sometimes I forget I’m wearing it and it doesn’t feel bulky at all. It doesn’t get in the way when I’ve worn it at the gym, or while working on my desk. Compared to my old tracker from a different brand, this one feels way more comfortable for all-day wear. As for the connection, so far it is seamless. It automatically syncs data without any lag. I like the 24/7 heart rate and activity tracking, sleep tracking, AI coaching tips, and the long battery life. I find these features very useful for me. I like that it tracks everything in the background and doesn’t constantly buzz or distract me. I’d definitely recommend the Fitbit Air, especially if you want a simple, lightweight, and focusef on health tracking without all the distractions. If you’re fine using your phone to check stats and just want something that quietly tracks everything in the background, this is a really solid option.

Years ago I had one of the original FitBit devices. It was a small clip-on fitness tracker, which I ended up accidentally leaving on a shirt and running through a laundry cycle in the washing machine. Putting the device in a bag of rice didn’t help dry it out either. Bummer. After that, I got my first bracelet style FitBit. Also screenless; similar (yet quite different) from this Google Fitbit Air. While this Fitbit Air lacks a digital screen to instantly view your health info, it is simple enough to just check your stats on your mobile device via the Google Health app. That said, you must have a Google account, as well as, the Google Health app to use this Fitbit Air. You can also subscribe to the Google Health Premium service to access additional features for the device in the app. With the app you can setup your personal health profile, set a weekly cardio goal, see your daily step count, calories burned, sleep data, track your exercise, and check your current heart rate; among other important health information. Battery level for the device is displayed at the top left. For the length of time I’ve been wearing my Fitbit Air, it’s been comfortable. The texture of performance loop band hasn’t irritated my skin (as of yet). Placement on your wrist is important for both comfort and accuracy of readings. So far, compared to my smartwatch, the difference in logged step count is negligible. As for design quality, I will say that the delicate lavender color of the loop band is really pretty. Of course, there are other bands available for purchase to switch out for your Fitbit Air. The Velcro on the band does the job, and feels secure. The specialized style charging cord is similar to my Google Pixel Watch, and works great. I would recommend this Google Fitbit Air wearable health monitoring device for those who do not wear a smartwatch. Beyond that, having both seems somewhat redundant. But whatever your preference, with what fits your current needs.

The Fitbit Air is awesome. I've been using a watch for fitness tracking for 5 years and I've been growing less and less satisfied and looking for an alternative. You get extras with a watch like the time, obviously, and paying and notifications from your phone that you don't need to look at your phone to see. But outside of paying, I just don't use the rest as much anymore and I'm really sick of having to charge another thing every day. So I was looking for an alternative for just tracking and a more basic or no screen. The Fitbit Air was coming out and for just $99 and the features that it came with met what I was looking for, so I gave it a try. I've been using it for a week and I'm actually happier with it than I ever thought that I'd be. Setup was easy. Download the app and pair it, then go through the options to make sure that everything is set up how you want it. Then, just go about your business. With no screen the app is everything and I was pleasantly surprised that it includes food tracking. One less app necessary. You can enter or scan barcodes for the food. So far, very accurate and I'm going to ditch my stand alone calorie counter. The design of the is nice and the data that the Fitbit Air collects is awesome. I was also pleasantly surprised that the sleep tracking was far more accurate than my watch. It notices when I wake up, but also if I go back to sleep. To explain, my watch sometimes detects that I got up in the morning earlier than normal, but sometimes it's just to go to the bathroom or something. I go back to sleep, but it stops sleep tracking. The Fitbit Air also notices if I get up, but it detects that I've gone back to sleep and tracks again. The other thing is battery life. It's so nice not to have to think about the battery. Not only does it last long, but it charges fast. I put it on Sunday at 10:30 with 99% and it's the next Sunday and the only time that I needed to put it on the charger was because it lost connection and to restart it (no screen or buttons) is to connect it to the charger and there's a reset button on the charger. It was down to 23% charge and that was Friday. After he quick reset, it actually charger up to 39% in the 1-2 minutes it was on there. Today, it was down to 20% and I put it on the charger for a full charge and it went from 20%-99% in 20 minutes. You can't beat that. Another thing that I feel the Fitbit Air does better than the watch is that it detects when I go for a walk but didn't initiate to record it and asks to add it. I really like that. My watch has the same feature but it is not reliable. It's not required, but I will comment on Google Health Premium because I'm using it during the free trial. I will say that I don't think that it's required, but I like it. I don't know if I'll keep it after the trial, but the thing that I like is that like is that it asked if there was anything that it should know when crafting my plans, and I told it that I have a chronic knee and heel problem and it not only adjusted the plan but during the day when I interact with it, it asks me how those areas feel and suggests stretches and changing from more intense to less intense based on how I feel. That's how anything like this should work, so it's nice that it does. If you're looking for a screenless tracker, I can't recommend the Fitbit Air enough.
